My husband ruptured a tendon in his finger . We bought one of these at the drug store put the metal foam filled one on him and called an Orthopedist. She put one of the flesh colored plastic ones on him to be worn for 8 weeks. Turns out she chose one too big for his finger and instead of it keeping the finger straight it moved around fell off a couple of times . We taped it to another finger to keep it from moving. Eight weeks later at his checkup the finger had healed crooked ! He is now wearing the original metal foam padded one for another 8 weeks to try to straighten it ! I bought more so he can always have a clean one.

The plastic one are very small. The biggest one barely fits on my index finger. The metal ones can be bent or adjusted to fit different size fingers. That being said, the quality seems very good. They will probably be fine for most people just know that they do run small.

Good price, and nice assortment, however I need one splint for one finger and the Velcro failed already. Thing constantly comes loose and not holding the joint steady.

The finger split keeps the phalanges straight. Feels soft, safe and relieved. I used the smallest one as my fingers are not too long. It allows me to do almost everything except to play the bass but in either case, injure needs to be gone to be able to come back to practice. Great product for the price.

These are a must for a first aid kit. I purchased them to keep me from bumping a broken finger and they worked well. Very comfortable to wear.

Tan finger cots are great! They stay in place with Velcro and are a better option for tendon, ligament or muscle strains.
