Fish love it! I only feed this once a week, kinda as a treat. Fish like, colors look nice and vibrant.

It's supposed to be good fish food but my cichlads didn't like it. and they eat everything

Absolutely despised by all my fish!I ordered the 3mm 250g Krill Pro/Gold in order to go the extra mile for my fish! Especially after hearing all the positive remarks about NorthFin and the quality of their food.At first I hesitated to purchase this as I saw multiple reviews stating that other customer’s fish seem to not touch it. Unfortunately, I still went ahead and purchased the product choosing to trust the brand reputation instead.Unfortunately when i fed my fish this initially, they didnt touch it and the food was left to rot.At first I believed that my fish were being fussy and didn’t want the change from their old food. So as a result I starved my fish out, following guidance from experts, giving them absolutely no food for 14 days!After 14 days of starvation, I even purchased Seachem’s Garlic Gaurd, which I let the food soak in before I fed them. I was sure that the fish would now accept the food with open arms. To my devastation, the fish seemed to have more interest, trying out the food, but all the fish immediately spat the food back out. The food eventually rotted in tank because none of my fish wanted to eat it!!! My fish chose starvation and death over eating this!!!I even tried feeding it to my goldfish, who has a reputation of eating just about anything and everything. And even he spat out the food, leaving it to rot in the substrate!!!In conclusion, it is my opinion that this food is perceived as being absolutely hideous for my fishes. Im sure it’s extremely healthy and nutritious but none of my fish want to eat it and they have proven to me, they’d rather starve.I have now lost £31.58 and I need to look for a new fish food. To make things even worse, the bag’s seal system broke after a few uses and I had to transfer all the food into a new re-sealable bag which luckily I had at home!Information about my tank:I have a 300L tank overstocked with hungry African Cichlids, including Haps, Mbunas and Alunocara.*** Disclaimer ***- The product was delivered by Dandy Cichlids professionally and quickly.- This may not apply to all batches of Krill Pro/Gold. This may be just a faulty batch.- I am not trying to destroy the NorthFin name/reputation in anyway, I am simply staying my own experience with their product and the issues it has caused me.
