This is has been my go to device brand for a few years now, don't let reviews get you down about how people who do not know anything say this is any less, this newer version does even better than old. For those people that say the Amazon Fire devices are any better or Roku, Think again. I have experimented with many devices and their capabilities. KODI with a little work is by far the best option, second this is a standard Android platform that performs like such. The older version does have issues running XFINITY and I assume anything requiring some sort of location more than your IP address. I have used this device to display Cameras, like my NEST cam, Slingbox feeds with older cams and it will run your home automations like wink this will also run other countries TV providers like katrina. I highly recommend the RII i8+ remote as the one that comes with the gbox will piss you off. This box will also accept video cast from your phone apps just as you would with a chrome cast, and does not require an internet connection to run movies saved on said devices. I have plugged wireless/wired mouse into this, external Bose home systems into this device and all worked well, you can also download pretty much anything tablet supported from the google play store

Easy to install, set up and operate!
What a great find and purchase!! The Matricom is the best TV box we have found. We have numerous streaming apps along with games and fun! We tried two others and the Matricom, by far, is the best option!! Easy to install, set up and operate!

The last one Amazon shipped it tome look liked a returned unit from customer or refurbished one
I returned a bad unit to them and Amazon just shipped me another Matricom Q3 unit right on the next day. It work flawlessly just like the last two I bought 5 months ago. So far so good.
