Seemed to work well on metal door
I did not use the glue pads on the door and seemed to slip down eventually. But adjusted to place above door molding to hold in place and prevent it from sliding down. I did not want to use glue pads on my new steel door. Overall, good product.

Does the job
This is good for what I needed it which was a flip calendar in my classroom. The problem I have is that the “removable” stickers on the magnets don’t come all the way off! I’m going to try heat and goo gone but because it won’t come all the way off, the rod keeps slipping. So if you buy it, hopefully you have some tricks up your sleeve or you’re going to need reinforcements

Class calendar
If you’re trying to use this for the flip chart calendar, this was not strong enough for mine. I had metal rings on it holding the month day and year and more but only tried those, and it was too heavy

These rods are perfect. The sizing was correct and they really hold
These rods are perfect. The sizing was correct and they really hold. I do not find that they slip out of place over time and they look very nice. Another advantage to having magnetic curtain rods over fixed in-place rods is that you have a lot of latitude over just how long you can make the curtain if you are making them yourself. Being able to adjust the rods up or down on the door makes it very difficult to get the curtains too long or too short. I bought two 84 in long window panels to put on my door and as I was shortening the curtains to fit the door, I was able to give them more length and make them look better because of being able to adjust the rods further up at the top and further down at the bottom. The color was also great and the rods do not look cheap. Normally, I do not do reviews because I don't have much time, but I was able to make a good choice in buying these because of all the good reviews that other shoppers took the time to write.

Using this product in my classroom (as a flip calendar) and I would highly recommend! The magnets are exceptionally strong and I’ve not had a problem at all with it. I’m happy!

Strong magnets! Perfect for curtains.
I had color-block curtains I wanted to hang on the door in my kitchen, and these rods did the job perfectly! The curtains are thick, about 1 meter in lenght, and I feel the magnets are holding strong. I even tug a bit on the curtains to test how sturdy it was, and the magnets didn't budge. Very happy with the purchase! :) If you're looking for strong magnets to hang a sheet of curtains, these will do the job. And they are extremely easy to use, open the package, remove magnet protector stickers and ready to go.

Strong Magnets
We live in an apartment and needed something to cover the window in our balcony door as the sun was causing a glare on the tv. I didn't want to drill anything and since our balcony door is steel, these were the perfect choice. I bought two and they are wonderful. The magnets are strong and I just slide the top rod up or down depending if i want the light to come through. The only "negative" is that where the rods meet in the middle is quite sharp so be careful when you are putting it together.Perfect for apartments!
