Great Value! Dehumidifier w/ Auto Defrost AND 3 Year Warranty!
I bought this 34 pint, 2500 Sq Ft. rated dehumidifier mainly to use in my garage and just started using it a couple of weeks ago. I have a raised ranch with a 2-car, attached (unheated) garage. We get quite a bit of snow here (especially this year) and the snow melt/water that drips from my SUV onto my vinyl garage flooring, significantly raises the humidity in the garage-which has caused excessive rust/corrosion of overhead door tracks, metal support posts, tools, etc. I bought this model specifically because it has the auto defrost feature -allowing it to still function in areas where the temps are lower -like my garage. I like that it comes with a drain hose that I can use if I ever decide to have it drain into my furnace condensate pump.I like that it's on wheels bc it saves my back from having to pick it up when I need to move it. The only time I don't care for the wheels (which don't lock), is when I'm trying to pull the collection tank out. The tank’s side grooves, where you’re supposed to grip it to slide it out aren’t very big, so that can sometimes be a pain- but it's not so bad that I'd consider it a huge negative. Compared to another, similarly sized dehumidifier I bought last year- this one is slightly louder when the fan is on the high setting. However, it doesn't bother me because I only run it in the garage and the unfinished area of the basement. When the unit is running on the high setting, my sound level meter registers it between 60 and 65 dBA (Although I’m not 100% sure how accurate the meter is..) If the unit had to be placed in our typical living areas, I would likely opt for something a little more quiet, but for my situation it’s perfectly fine.Pros:*compact, nice looking unit*wheels for easily moving it around*defrost feature-allowing it to still function in cooler areas (as low as 41°F), like in an attached garage*comes with optional drain hose*auto shut off when tank is full*comes with a 3 year warranty-which was quick and easy to register for. I just scanned a qr code which opened up an email where you just fill in your name, model #, etc.. I received a fast (next day) warranty confirmation response from the manufacturer.*digital display with easy to use controlsCons: (none of these are deal breaker -for me at least)*there isn't much in the way of a recess or grip for being able to grab the collection tank and slide it out when emptying it.*wheels don't have the ability to lock -at least that I saw. Not worried about it rolling away -because unit obviously needs to be on a level surface to function properly -but would be very handy when emptying the collection tank, to hold the unit in place as you need one hand on each side to pull it straight out. After chasing it around the garage a few times, I've come up with some creative (awkward) ways to pull the tank out when there's no one around to hold the unit still for me...*When the fan setting is on high, it's probably a little louder than most would prefer if located in a frequently occupied living area.*Manual that was included doesn’t clearly state what each of the three operation modes does- it only tells you which settings (fan speed, humidity level) can be adjusted depending on which mode you are in. (Modes: Dehumidification; Drying; Continuous) Not a huge deal- I just looked it up online to figure out the difference between each.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase as it seems to be a well-made dehumidifier and has all of the main options I was looking for, including the 3 year warranty. In hind sight, I probably would've ordered the next size up for my 2 car garage, just so I wouldn't have to run it for quite as long in the cooler months. **When operating at lower temps in the winter, it's normal for dehumidifiers to take longer to remove moisture from the air (thermodynamic principles...) I'd definitely recommend this dehumidifier, and would suggest considering a unit rated for a larger room- if you want to cut back on the amount of time it actually has to run.

Don't cheap out
The longer I live, the more I understand and experience the truth of the phrase, "it's expensive to buy cheap things".Before I bought this dehumidifier, I had a $40 one, and then after that, an $80 one. Neither of them did the job for my relatively small basement.Fed up, I bought this one on sale for $130, and it's day one and it's been worth it already. The ones I was using before could barely maintain a 62% humidity level, yet after just a few short hours of running this one, humidity read 57%.It moves significantly more air, and is also significantly heavier than the others despite not being that much larger; no doubt, this is because it has a much stronger fan with a much larger compressor and coils. The only annoyance is the water reservoir is rather small, but that's a minor issue, as while I don't have a convenient place to drain it via the hose in my basement, I'm there regularly and can empty it myself. Also, the built-in hydrometer isn't all that accurate, but I read that this is typical in these units, as the air right around them will naturally be drier.Time will tell if this little guy will stand the test of time, but so far, I'm impressed and satisfied. My only regret is that I cheaped out and spent a cumulative $120 buying junk dehumidifiers before this one, when I could have just spent that money to buy a serious dehumidifier like this one from the get-go.

1 Year Review
I purchased this product a little over a year ago and I am very pleased with the purchased! We have a small home of approx. 900 sqft. and this little guy drops the humidity down to a comfortable level and is capable of maintaining the humidity setting we have it on. This is the second summer for the unit and it is still running great. We have no problems with anything leaking and the noise level is that of a small fan. When tank is full is has an auto shut off and we easily pull the tank and pour out the water then replace tank and it is off doing it's job again. We rinse out the reusable filter about once a month and it helps with the energy efficiency, as we all know dehumidifiers are not cheap to run 24/7. We had purchased other units that were closer to the square footage requirement and they were duds! So we decided to up the square footage requirement and found this unit, the size is perfect and having it on wheels makes it easy to move if needed. I have no problem recommending this product to others who want a nice compact dehumidifier that really works!

Simple to use
The dehumidifier seems to work well. Have only had it for a week so still trying it out. The touchpad is fairly simple and well laid out. I did find the tank smaller than expected but either I ordered the wrong size or maybe misread the ad. The manual is a royal pain. The operating instructions are in the back portion and just a basic description of the keypad. Could be more clearly laid out. All in all, seems to be a reasonable product.

Great dehumidifier that works!
Great dehumidifier! It's small enough to not take up too much room yet still very powerful and useful! It works perfectly! The water basin is small but only needs to be emptied once a day. You can tell it works immediately. The different functions and settings are nice with an easy, straightforward touch pad. The outlet is long and the wheels make it easy to move around. It's not too heavy so can be moved. It's a bit noisy at the highest setting but not too loud where it becomes an issue. It shipped on time with no issues. AND comes with a 3 year warranty!! Highly recommend!!
