It’s not “just” salt, there is something really special about this quality Cornish sea salt flakes. It is great in cooking and adds a real extra taste to my dishes and when using as a seasoning. The container is helpful as it keeps the salt dry and easy to keep to hand. Good value for money for a large tub. It is mineral rich and contains up to 82 minerals. A tasty way to get your electrolytes.

This is one of those products I never knew I needed, until trying. Up until now I’ve always just been using standard salt crystals for seasoning and cooking. These Cornish Sea Salt flakes are a really nice quality sea salt, that feels a bit more special than standard table salt. The flakes are light and delicate, with a pleasant crunch that works really well as a finishing salt. The flavour is clean and naturally salty but there is just a hint of something. Maybe it’s the mineral content adding to it, I don’t know, but that’s what we’ve tasted. This really helps bring out the taste of food rather than overpowering it. I’ve been using it to finish things like roasted vegetables, eggs, and grilled meat, it adds a nice little burst of flavour and texture. It also works well sprinkled over homemade bread before baking. The flake texture is just right. The pyramid-style flakes crumble nicely between your fingers and distribute evenly over food. Because the flakes are larger, you often end up using a little less than you would with fine salt. The 350g resealable tub is practical for the kitchen and should last a long time with normal use. It keeps the salt dry and easy to access while cooking. Overall, this is a simple but high-quality natural sea salt. I have used this to season a beef roast joint, steaks and a roast chicken. I was unsure if it would be much different to regular salt but IT IS. The salt flakes are delicious and add so much flavour to the meats. It is a really good size pot for the price, brilliant value compared with what I have been buying from the supermarket. The salt is pure white, large flakes and crunchy and so easy to take a pinch from the pot and use in almost every meal. I have even used it on soup and it really makes a huge difference. You can tell this is a high quality product and worth every penny. I will now make this a permanent feature in my kitchen cupboard, you only need a small pinch for so much flavour. I cannot see myself going back to seasoning with regular table salt again. This is a high grade natural sea salt, a great source of electrolytes and contains up to 82 minerals that you don't get anywhere else in the normal diet.
