Reliability
I've been using the same brand for over 20 years, first introduced by my Aromatherapist. I've tried a cheaper versions but doesn't live up to the qualityof this. Smell is pleasant, materials good and it's a gentler alternative to syringing or sticking earbuds in your earholes. Just be careful that you don't do it if you've had an infection, wait till its healed. Also, your eardrum may be perforated so don't want to make it worse!

Didn't do the job for me
I bought these for my my blocked tubes in my head which were giving me a headache. I thought I would give them a try as I've tried most things but unfortunately they didn't work. Also you really need to have a 2nd person holding them as they are difficult to use alone.

Doesn’t clean ears
People may personally get some relaxation benefit from this but it doesn’t appear to do anything to remove wax from ears. Candle on right was in ear and on left burnt in hand and show same residue-effect . Personally I won’t use again as feel I could achieve same effect by listening to sound of a flame on YouTube but each to their own.
