This is a chunky Nordic-style amulet with a hole in the middle. It is pretty heavyweight, and the thing I notice most is that it is several millimetres thick/deep so it might show under your clothes a little if you had it tucked under a t-shirt etc. I do like the design, the runes look cool, no idea what they mean will have to look into it. The design stands out in relief. I would say size-wise its best suited to men as opposed to kids or teenagers if worn as jewellery.For me the chain supplied does let it down somewhat. The links on the change are pretty oversized but they also feel like fine links, so the chain seems too 'fine' to match the solid amulet. I'm not saying it wouldn't be able to hold the weight - it likely would - but its a mismatch in styes for me.However, I do certainly like the amulet itself, so we will keep it and hopefully look for a look for a chain - or more likely a length of leather or cord - that is more suited to the wearer's personal taste. I definitely think a more natural material would match the design better.

Cheap looking, disappointing.

My teenage daughter really likes this necklace - she's currently going through a phase of collecting rune inspired jewellery and this necklace is actually quite nice. The necklace looks very stylish whilst the slightly raised rune symbols appear clear. It's made from stainless steel, not silver, but given the price this is expected.The chain is a good sturdy size and the pendant has been attached in a way that prevents it from rolling around on the chain. The necklace comes presented with a storage/gift pouch and the general quality is good. Yes, it's a little on the cheap side but overall for the price, it's an attractive looking, stylish necklace.

The pendant part is ok but the thin bit of string it hangs is awful

The runes on the pendant are very detailed, the chain has a decent thickness to it, so it doesn't feel delicate, and it has a good length to it. It's simple and stylish.

I have a couple nordic style rings and accessories, and this pendant looked like it would really compliment them. I'm happy to say that it does indeed, and the simplicity of it allows me to wear it daily without looking out of place. The pendant does look exactly as it is pictured, and comes with a nice felt bag to store it in. The runes are very slightly raised off the center black ring, so there's no worry of them rubbing away over time. The included chain is of a decent quality and doesn't irritate my skin, though there isn't anything else notable about it.I am very happy with the necklace, though I do wish they had put some design on the back, as it tends to flip around by itself throughout the day. I would still highly recommend the necklace, as it's a great value for precisely designed jewelry.
