Doesn't seem to work
The gloves are nicely made, soft and fuzzy, but the heating doesn't seem to work. I plugged them into several different USB power adapters and also tried a USB battery pack with a current measurement display. I got no heat, and on the battery pack it displays a current reading for a fraction of a seconds but then goes back to idle as if nothing is connected.I connected the gloves to a bench power supply and they drew a little over 2.1A at 5V, so I think it may be that a lot of USB adapters and battery packs may not quite be able to provide that and therefore all the ones I have probably shut off for safety.I'd guess that for a lot of people these gloves aren't going to work because it'll be a matter of luck whether they happen to have a USB power adapter that can support them. A lot of adapters, including ones for tablets and smart phones will probably be borderline and may not work.

Flip them around to heat tops of hand. MUCH BETTER relief!
Like these so far (I'll up to a 5 star if they hold up!)I use them while writing my novels and typing, but the palm side "pad" is kinda stiff and doesn't lend itself to fast typing. In addition, most of my arthritis pain is my knuckles and tops of my hands. No problem. I swapped teh gloves onto the other hand and flipped them upside down. Now they heating pad is on top of my hands and fingers. This also moves the power cord that comes out the bottom of the glove onto the top of the wrist, so not resting on it while I type.I will now use i with ANY USB charging hub, my Portable USB power pack, or off my Surface pro.And it's awesome!!!

Effective, but bulky and ridiculous looking.
I bought these particular gloves because they were the only ALL black heated gloves that I could find so I could get away with wearing them in uniform. The heating elements are effective. Unfortunately, the material is bulky and makes your hands look like a puppet from a kids' show (Cookie Monster/Elmo). Even with the fingerless tips I have to really focus to hit the right keys due to the bulk of material between the fingers. My office is freezing so I will continue to use these so typing is less torturous. However, I wish they would switch to a thinner glove material.I only recommend these if your hands are so cold you won't care how ridiculous they make you look and can deal with some inaccurate keystrokes.

Warm and comfortable
I've had these for about two months now and I wear them almost every day in the office. They are pretty warm and I haven't had any problems so far!PRO:WarmComfortableCon:Wires get in the wayStarting to shed. While the first setting is hardly noticeable the second setting is surprisingly warm.I would say it's about as warm as a heating pad on the next to the lowest setting or one of those chemical hand warmers. They are also very comfortable. If it weren't for the wires sticking out (even when unplugged) I would actually wear these even when they weren't plugged in.The wires are annoying though. I work at a desk and they do get in the way quite often. The bulkiness of the gloves can make using a mouse a bit difficult at times but typing is easy. It's also starting to shed, leaving small holes where at the seams where the fingers are.I still enjoy them very much though and I would recommend them to anyone who works at a desk and wants to keep warm.

Warm but bulky
I work an office job with lots of typing and my hands/fingers tend to have poor circulation, so they get cold even if the rest of me isn't. I ordered several different types of heated gloves. I liked that these extended the heated area into the fingertips - a feature missing from most of the others. But the fabric is so bulky/fluffy I found it too difficult to type with. I ended up keeping another pair that wasn't as great at heating but was slimmer, allowing me to type.

Works best with both on one hand
Usually it's my mouse hand that gets really cold. These only warm on one side, which isn't that effective when your whole hand is freezing. So I put both on my mouse hand, warming top and bottom. It's slightly more awkward having wires trailing off the top and bottom of my wrist, but it works well. When both hands are cold and I use them for typing, they feel clumsy.

Not bad for keeping your hands warm.
I picked these up for my husband and they are not bad. They take a while to heat up but once they do he says they are nice and warm and the fuzzy glove material is nice and soft. The cable you see in the image sits inside the gloves on TOP of your wrist and can become painful after a while. Flipping them inside out negated the heating effect so we ended up cutting small holes to thread the cables through so they sit over the gloves now instead of on his wrists.

Cable is a little annoying
These work perfectly, the two heat levels are great and I highly recommend them. Only down side is the cable gets in the way and is annoying when moving from keyboard to mouse back and forth.

Works well
These gloves are great only dislike is the cords be another foot longer for how I was routing it through my jacket to my battery

A cold office worker’s best friend this winter!
These are actually better than what I was expecting. They are soft, not stiff as I was expecting from the heating elements. They warm up quite fast, with two heat settings. Will you get weird looks from your coworkers, yes, but who cares, your hands will be toasty warm while typing away!
