I keep a nail file and clippers in all of my common areas or regularly visited places - kitchen, bathroom, car, workplace, purse, etc. I really like this set of metal nail files as they are sturdy, effective, and still surprisingly gentle on my brittle nails. These worked better than the cardboard emery boards I typically use. At $5.99 for 6 files, this is a very good price, particularly given the quality of the files.The hook on the end is good for getting out dirt or anything else stuck. It's still sharp like the ends of many files, so use caution when storing this. If you keep it in your purse, make sure it's in a case to avoid stabbing yourself with it or tearing your purse.

Love these for pedicures - so hard to find the nail file with the hook at the end so when I saw these and the price for 6 was amazing...I keep them everywhere. Perfect for a fingernail emergency on the go as well.
