This was going to be my first experience using this product. Right out of the gate extremely disappointed. $23 almost $24 and this thing is the size of a quarter, I think that’s a little ridiculous. I wanted to try it so that if I love it, I can decide on what sent I would like to order a full size. I think even the full size is a little overpriced, but if it’s great product, I was willing to pay it. But I won’t even be trying the full-size after paying $23 for something the size of a quarter. Sorry, Kate McLeod off to another brand.

I am not one to write reviews, but I truly feel cheated and scammed by the advertising surrounding this product... with regards to application ..the sphere shape is awful...when I tried to use it, it kept falling...it was very hard to apply. As soon as I opened and felt this body "stone", I realized that this product is really nothing more than a a chunk of cocoa butter, with - probably what i would estimate to be less than/ around 5-10 percent of - some oils (sweet almond, apricot kernel - fast absorbing and avocado oil - a very slow absorbing oil) added in. This was confirmed when I compared it side to side to a pure cocoa butter pastille I had bought in Bulk from Brambleberry, and the two felt identical. This product did not absorb, but sat on my skin, and left me greasy. Not only is it non absorbent, but also it was hard to apply. Of course, this all makes sense given that Cocoa butter is not generally considered a fast absorbing butter, and neither is avocado oil - but I fell for the marketing, and did not expect to be actually sold a one ounce bar of cocoa butter for 20 bucks. After reading the ingredient label I was also surprised to see that there is absolutely NO antioxidant used in it to prevent the oils/ butters from going rancid (usually natural formulators will use a Vitamin E or ROE - rosemary essential oil) to ensure that once the oils and butters are mixed they do not go rancid in less than 6 mos. I know that the product is comprised of butters and oils, and thus does not need a preservative per se, but given that the oils and mutters were melted and mixed, and that typically oils and butters do not last over a year following this, i was surprised to see an expiry date of August, 2025 on the one I bought at the start of February 2024 - that's over a year and 6 months at least after the date of making...and no antioxidant at all....I mean i understand the company is trying to cut corners, but no antioxidant and you expect [people to use this a year and 6 months later?? which is only made worse by the fact that this 20+ dollar cocoa butter sphere arrived in what was NOT air tight packaging... this body "stone" arrived in a squished cardboard box, wrapped in some sort of a rag the strings of which were unravelling. also, am i supposed to store this cocoa ball in the rag? o r do i need to pay 30 more bucks for some type of a container that I can probably find elsewhere for 3 bucks? I realize I am beign snarky but I just got suckered into paying 20 bucks for a ball of cocoa butter..id get the price fi it had incorporated some nicer more absorbent butters and oils, but this was a greaseball that arrived in a rag and did nothing more for my skin than one of my cocoa butter pastilles. save yourself the money and either buy pure cocoa butter pastilles, if you want a chunk of cocoa butter...they come for $ 15/ pound...or invest in a body butter bar with better more absorbent ingredients like kokum butter, cupuacu butter, babassu oil, etc...

Love this product. Makes my skin feel soft and subtle. Would highly recommend

This product appears quite simply to be a small amount of cocoa butter at a high price. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't speak to its effectiveness.

This product is very expensive and when I received it, I could not believe how incredibly tiny it was. It is absolutely not worth the money. The return process had to go through the original seller, which I not advised of when I purchased it. now I have to print out a return label and I do not have a printer. So I'm literally stuck with this ridiculously overpriced product. Do not order, you will be disappointed.

I like this shea butter stone. I didn’t realize that it was so small and expensive for it’s size. I’ve found other stone that were of equal quality but less expensive.
