Best one I’ve ever bought

In the last seven years, as a professional working on the phone 8-12 hours a day, I have been using Geemarc Ampli 500s with Sennheiser PC-230 headsets on a 2.5mm Headset Buddy (sadly, the HBs tend to last no longer than a few months, but at least, they exist, because they do not have any competitors). While the Sennheisers usually give in after 6-24 months of use, they give me the best possible sound quality on both ends (especially for phone calls, but they are quite good for movies and music, too). Sadly, they have been discontinued. This purchase was supposed to explore potential replacements.Build Quality:Easily the best I have ever seen in this category. Both the headset and the cable look and feel sturdy and durable.Comfort:While I personally prefer open headphones (e.g. the Sennheisers), these do not bother me a whole lot. Still, they do not allow your ears to air while on calls. Happily, the pressure is light and well-distributed and the earpads lock out quite a bit of external noise, too).Sound Quality:This is where this item fails me. The bass is waaay too much and the treble is barely there, possibly because the bass is suppressing it. That is BAD for phone users. The other side, however, has never complained about not hearing me, which suggests that the microphone quality is outstanding. If you are not picky about the sound balance, this unit makes a relatively well-functioning headset for phone calls.While the device could be a good thing for a laptop or a cell phone (3.5mm adapter cable is included), the sound quality on an external device is abysmal (tried it on a Samsung phone and on an HP Elitebook), resembling the sound that would come out of a barrel. The item definitely fails as a device for movies or music, unless you don't care for the sound quality.Noise cancellation:The earpads provide good sound isolation.Microphone Quality:Other parties never complain about not hearing me on a call.Final Verdict:Although I still have not found something for the time when my last PC-230 finally goes defunct, I returned the item, because I simply could not live with the sound quality.

I was fooled by this products' appearance.I thought it would have monaural audio from a speaker/earbud for both ears.The ONLY audio comes from the side with the voice pickup piece.The other side is a fake made to look like a speaker/earbud, but has no sound.Would not buy again.

Audio quality is good. I wish it had some padding on the steel that connects the two ear pieces. After wearing the headset a while it dents the top of my head and starts to hurt a bit. For short duration calls its is OK.

This headset is excellent. Reasonably priced for the market. Sounds good at both ends of the conversation. Mic boom is sturdy and stable. And the interchangeable 2.5 and 3.5mm adapters increases utility to include many cell phones and many wireless handsets. The adapter connection is solid and yet easy to detach. Most of all, I commend the company support. Amazon dropped the ball on support, but once I got through to the company itself, they sent a replacement part in two days. Commendable.

This is one of the best headsets I tried. It has good sound quality and great microphone quality. I work in IT and spend hours daily listening to folks with different accents and different dialects explaining very complex concepts. So, it is critical for me to understand every word said on the meetings. I like that it has a 2.5 connector and I can use a home phone with this headset. I used the 3.5 connector whenever I have to take a meeting on the cell phone. Note that you will need an additional connector (Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter), if using with the latest iphone model.

Headset is comfy and works excellent with my cell but when I tried the landline phone, the cord is shot. Tried to send an email and have them send another cord/plug but got no response. That is why the 4 as I got this for work conference calls through my Home/Work phone. Without the code it has been useless to me. ;(

This is my 2nd pair of Mairdi 2.5 mm headphones. I'm hearing impaired...other headphones gave me volume but not clarity. My first pair of Mairdi headphones are so good, that I decided to buy an extra pair in case, I damage the first pair. They are excellent.

The product itself seems of good quality, but the connector does not work with Cisco SPA504 (though the product description has it on the list). It was quite a loose fit. Had to return....I took that back;). On 2nd day, after pushed in hard (after a small clicking), it fits pretty nicely with SPA504. Sound is clear. Looks like brutal force is the key;). Keeping the product.

Excellent design the only thing missing is a foam wind guard for the microphone. The sound is excellent. The microphone is also excellent.

Angenehm zu tragen. Für Home Office geeignet. Ton und Sprachqualität absolut in Ordnung. Klinken Anschlüsse 2,5 und 3,5 mm, damit für Festnetz und Smartphone/PC nutzbar
