Cordless Keyboard Cleaner

I was in the market to a small handheld vacuum cleaner that would allow me to clean my hardware synths and mixing desk with minimal effort. My mixing desk in particular is not the easiest of things to keep clean and it gets worse once you get behind it and into where the cables are. Looking around the MECO rechargeable desk cleaner was the best reviewed product I could find for the money and at just under £20 seemed worth the risk purchase. 24 hours later I’ve received the vacuum. It arrived partially charged and was fully charged in around 90 minutes although a full charge from flat is 4 hours for 40 minutes of use. It comes with a USB cable but no plug so I used my ‘phones USB plug and it was fine. I was surprised at just how lightweight it was but it feels robust when you use it. The bigger surprise was the sheer amount of dust it sucked up. It was really quite a staggering amount. It might not feel like it’s got a lot of suction to it when you place your hand over it but don’t let that put you off. When it comes to shifting dust in hard to reach/awkward locations it appeared unstoppable. My mixing desk, synths and hard to reach areas behind them are now spotlessly clean. In summary, the MECO rechargeable desk cleaner is a great little vacuum that can easily be stored in a drawer and does an absolutely fantastic job. I wish I’d bought it months ago!

Very handy little cleaner with good suction, a few good tools supplied and lasts for a decent while without requiring charging. It's easy to use and clean out and overall is a very handy unit.

Firstly, bought with my own hard-earned, and not a free review item. I bought this a while ago, and initially dismissed it as something of a toy. Today I tried it again, and found that it is actually pretty good for very light dusting tasks, such as the dust that gathers around keyboards, monitor screen to bezel edges, tops of flat IT kit, and around RJ-45 Ports on Switches, Routers and Hubs etc. Provided you do not expect it to do anything else, this is actually a useful piece of kit to have handy in your local desk tool kit, i.e. the small tools kept readily to hand and used very frequently, without having to walk off to fetch larger tools or sets. It's best kept with the small pipe extension with the mini-brush end, as that is perfect for what it can do, and do well. After use, most of the hairs and dust will be sucked onto the small foam filter inside of the housing, so just shake that out into a bin after every use. Do not leave it full of dust, or the suction will be dire next time you use it. Just get in the habit of cleaning and charging after every use, and it will be good to go every time. One of my machines is a Workstation Laptop kept in a Dock, so the lid stays closed, and inevitably gathers dust. This removes that with a few sweeps of the brush, and you can see where it has been, so can get everything clean in one session. It's also great around the bezels of monitors, especially the step below where the screen ends, and the bezel starts. A quick sweep with this unit, and all dust is removed in no time. Keyboards too, but best kept dusted. The longer you leave a Keyboard, the more ingrained the dust will get, so it may be wise to buy one of those gel pot things, and roll that around to get rid of the worst of it. After that, a regular vacuum with this device should keep things tidy. OK, I am more impressed than I was initially, glad I lowered my expectations and gave it a second chance! Then I realised what it can do, and what it cannot do. What it can do is still handy, so it is worth having around. Just do not expect it to suck like a mains powered machine, or a 12-18 Volt unit for that matter.

Product doesn't have the suction as shown in the video, however it does have enough to get loose dust with the brush nozzle when you can get close enough. Please note if you have a full fledge size keyboard this is not the product for you. for small foot print keyboards likes ones found in laptops/ Mac books, etc, this will do well. This does also work well on cleaning out small graits in your machines as well as your computer chair. --- BUYER BEWARE SECTION! this product comes with cleaning putty, do not use this under any circumstance and have it thrown away as soon as possible. I used the putty on my keyboard and it fell apart in my hands and I had to de cap my keyboard to get all the small bits of gunk out! --- As stated this product is adequate, i wouldn't recommend the product to anyone and if given the opportunity i wouldn't buy it again. that being said i am not dissatisfied enough to desire returning the product as it is able to clean my router's small grills and it can be passable with the brush attachment in use.

It was bought for my husband and was supposed to clean a car, mainly seats, as kids LOVE eating there and make just loads of mess like every time it happens. Well, my husband will probably need to get another one for a car as I tried it at home and you know what, this is a brilliant toddler-mess cleaner and biscuits' crumbs-everywhere-problem solver. Instead of taking out of the storage our big and heavy hoover million times a day, it takes me seconds to get rid off all the mess. I clean a high chair after every meal, hidden places between sofa pillows, chairs's covers etc. Easy, quickly, convenient. This device weighs almost nothing, does the job and saves so much time and MY NERVES, which is even more important. I personally haven't tried to clean the keyboard with the cleaner itself, however, have already used that jelly-like stuff for it, which was in a box. It worked well. Overall, I came from "why do I even need this" to "can't live without it" in a couple of days. Happy.

Cercavo un mini aspirapolvere per pulire i binari della zanzariera e altri piccoli angoli della casa senza dover ogni volta prendere l aspirapolvere grande.. cercavo qualcosa che aspirante giusto il minimo.. ho trovato lui e nonostante alcune recensioni non proprio belle mi sono lanciate. Iniziamo con la spedizione veloce ma su questo amazon non si smentisce mai... appena arrivato l ho subito provato.. è vero sembra un giocattolino ma perché mi sono proprio divertita nell usarlo. Leggero maneggevole per quanto mi riguarda aspira e pure tanto sicuramente oltre mia ogni aspettativa e sicuramente adatto per le mie esigenze. La scatola comprende 2 filtri di ricambio una lancetta piatta e una spazzola,il cavo usb per la ricarica e il super clean e libretto d istruzioni ma èmolto facile da usare. L ho provato sui mobili maniglie.. insomma lo consiglio per quelle spolverate veloci dove magari ci scoccia prendere l aspirapolvere più grande. Davvero soddisfatta

I was looking for some way to clean the dust from my Lego and saw a YouTube video where they were using the MECO cleaner. I bought it and I'm happy with my purchase. It is a lot easier to clean the dust from Lego this way. The brush can fit between the small pieces without breaking them apart. I haven't tried it on anything else. Probably it will be able to clean also my keyboard. For everything else I'm using a larger vacuum cleaner.

Sin duda lo compré para mantener el polvo alejado de mi escritorio, ya que en mi casa con facilidad se llena de polvo el teclado, el ratón, el micrófono y mi PC, por lo tanto este mini aspirador me sirve para que de vez en cuando realice un mantenimiento a todo, e incluso como ya he dicho a mi PC por dentro ya que se suele llenar de polvo fácilmente al tener 3 ventiladores de salida y 1 de entrada, de momento me funciona correctamente y tiene 2 cabezales para que se adapte a lo que necesito, eso si, la goma esa para "limpiar" el teclado que viene de regalo, viene un poco de sobra, con el mini aspirador ya es suficiente, pero igual se agradece el detalle.

Von jetzt an sind meine Tasten immer sauber. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät.
