Annoying and intrusive unadvertised "feature" with no way of changing behavior.
I bought this USB foot pedal for use as a push-to-talk key in voice chat applications on Windows 10. On top of the features listed in the description of this item, this USB foot pedal has a very annoying and intrusive "feature" where keeping it pressed for more than a few seconds will automatically open up a Windows run command dialog, in which it will automatically type in and attempt to access the manufacturer's website. This happens every time you press it for more than a few seconds, and there is no way of changing this behavior. Using the included software, and even the latest version from their website, lets you rebind the key bound to the foot pedal for general use, but there is no way to disable the unadvertised behavior that I described. I even tried using it on a different Linux machine with third-party open-source software that allows overwriting the key bound to the foot pedal, but it is still not possible to remove the described behavior.I find it completely unacceptable that a product would have this kind of behavior in the first place, not only is it annoying and intrusive that it interrupts what I'm doing by opening a Windows run command dialog and trying to access a website on its own accord when I press it longer than a few seconds, the mere idea that a product would, against my wishes, interrupt what I'm doing and try to open a website (something that is never mentioned in the product description or any other promotional material) is outrageous. I would strongly recommend against purchasing this product.

Perfectly OK
I needed a foot pedal to activate push to talk in games. This does the job - out of the box is presses 'b'. Not having the ability to use the mini-CD which the pedal comes with (you can't use them in slot loading drives), I have no idea whether the software is any good to reprogram it.I have noticed that having this pedal plugged in during boot has caused some slightly odd issues in Windows 10 which prevent my keyboard (Logitech G810) from being detected straight away, and it instead cycles through the initialisation a few times before giving up - the only way to fix this is to unplug the pedal and wait a few moments. The build quality is alright, but the exterior feels quite cheap and plasticky. The actuation is quite nice and clicky and the spring inside feels the right amount of stiffness.

Cheap Plastic that may or may not last for long.
Been using this as a push-to-talk trigger that I can press down with my foot whenever I want to speak. This way I don't have an Open Mic. Its groves can make it a little uncomfortable if you aren't wearing shoes after prolonged use.It has a horribly FAT USB, making it awkward to plug into a PC that is using most of its USB SlotsI ordered mine on the 11th of March 2021, it has lasted me until the 7th of June 2021. It has only lasted for three months. I will not be ordering a product from this company again and will instead be looking for other solutions. Might even make my own as all it is a simple switch in a piece of plastic.

Does what it says on the tin. And more. A little *too much* more.
You can get it to send mouse commands, type out text, control multimedia. It can "press" keyboard keys of course, although not all keys and combinations are allowed, which means I cannot use it for the intended purpose (I have no control over the keyboard shortcut for the particular feature I need to use... hence buying the pedal). But lastly, it lets you input gamepad control presses. This is pretty cool; I can see this feature being used by disabled gamers and such. But the way it's implemented means it's constantly outputting a gamepad's "Button 574 up" input to the operating system. If you use other HID reading/manipulating software, it can be pretty problematic, requiring you to unplug the pedal when you don't want it constantly spewing out input.

ok product. drivers not findable online
Item works fine, feels extremely cheap but what do you expect at the price. you will need to use the installation dvd provided tho to change what key press it is (set as B as default)unfortunatly i dont have a drive on the computer i need to use it with and trying to find the programme online seems to be impossible, the company doesnt even have drivers etc on the websiteso physically the thing is what youd expect but without software or any online support it seems its not really fit for purposeif anyone knows of where to download the programme to re-assign keys please do link for myself and future buyers

Good pedal however 1 very big issue
Good footpedal for everyday use. The included software allows for the mapping of keys that are not on the keyboard itself, which is useful considering it maps itself to the B key by default. After just over two weeks of use however, the pedal has started to feel quiet squishy and not as defined as the trigger was before, which is to be expected. However the biggest and very annoying issue with this pedal is that the two components (base and actual pedal) are held together by a plastic pin that after 30 mins of use came put of one of the sides. This continues to happen after about 20mins to 1 hour of use now and can be very infuriating when your in the middle of having a conversation with this being you microphone open switch

Electronics good, pedal not so for my application.
I bought this to switch .pdf pages of sheet music. The software works well on my Win10 64-bit PC. The pedal (for anyone used to guitar effects pedals) is very lightweight on the floor and the action is unfamiliar. I couldn't gel with it. The pedal only contains a spring and microswitch (the chip is in the USB plug) so I cut the cable at the pedal end and fitted a 1/4" jack plug for my BOSS FS-5U pedal. Now the device is an asset to my music room. I hope this tip will help others.
