I was disappointed in the quality of this product. The everlasting pencil feature is a good idea, but it doesn't quite feel like a true graphite pencil lead. The hardness of the material is comparable to a 2H pencil or harder. It would be better if you could choose a range of hardness. It's possible to offer a range, similar to the woodless pencils on the market.The sturdiness of the area that holds the beads is hit or miss. A few of the the ones I got were wobbly. I was able to stabilize them with the white plumbers tape around the threads. It was invisible once I put on the beads.The pencil cover would not stay on, too. I still used the product, because I was creating pen and pencil sets for gifts and couldn't wait for a replacement. I'm not sure another brand would be any better or I would have returned them.I was pleased with the look of the finished sets, but I hope they don't fall apart.

Like that they have a solid piece on top of pencil so beads don’t sink in there
