Absolutely worth it! Comfortable and NOT a lacrosse ball!
!!!These are absolutely wonderfully! You would be wise to purchase them!!!Before I bought these, I purchased some (from another company and brand) that turned out to be a super hard, uncomfortable lacrosse ball. So, I returned those and ordered this HolisticFit Therapy Massage kit. These are like night and day. Unsure what material they are, but they are firm with a silicone-like exterior. The smaller size one is absolutely perfect for forearms and hands. I 100% recommend these!

Great and convenient
These massage balls are perfect post-workout to relieve muscle tension and minor aches. It's perfectly firm - comfortable but not too squishy that you won't feel the massage pressure. It's also convenient that you can just slip it in your bag and take it anywhere with you. It's perfect for relieving backpain after long hours of just sitting at home working on your computer. Taking breaks in between work is vital for increased productivity and these massage balls are just the perfect companion you can have!

Absolutely vital to my recovery and myofascial routine, but they do have a learning curve for optimal use
These are among the best purchases I've ever made. I am working on some mobility issues and trying to undo some of the shortening of muscles that has occurred as a result of muscle building, not to mention the near constant pain I have in my shoulders from a desk job. I also own a theracane, which helps in a pinch, but does not have the longterm potential of these. I use the larger balls for some physical therapy type uses on my neck, shoulders, along my shoulder blades, and pectoral area. They are of particular use in between my monthly and sometimes biweekly deep tissue/trigger point massages. They work best for the smaller muscle groups: arms, shoulders, chest, neck, and feet. I would recommend a foam roller for gluten and legs.In the simplest terms, I place the ball under the desired tendon or pressure point while lying on the ground and move my arm up and down or back and forth for a couple of minutes, starting from the upper base of my neck down at several points from behind the collar bone and down the inside of each shoulder blade. The balls work best on the neck when tied together inside the provided sack and used as a sort of cradle.I HAVE TO STRESS never to move limbs further than they want to go or to press harder than is tolerable with these. Like any myofascial work, these DO cause micro tears in the muscle, so it will always hurt some. But if you experience sharp or acute pain, it is best to back off a bit. You can cause injury with these if you push it too far. If you are new to them, it is wise to treat them much like a foam roller and to do some research on myofascial work to better understand what pain is good and how to keep it safe. It is much like stretching. Stretching hurts a bit, but you can usually tell the good pain from the bad. If you notice soreness the day after use, put off using them again until the soreness has gone away and go a little easier next time. Your muscles need time to adjust to this type of pressure just as they need recovery time and slow introduction to resistance training and weightlifting. The small ball is great to use on tendons in the jaw and for trigger points in the feet.I read an article recently, maybe in Yoga Journal, which tracked the use of myofascial conditioning and found that regular use, at least weekly, lead to increased flexibility. Another possible perk, although I myself have not yet noticed it.

Material is a bit sticky, but good firmness...
I tried these and was relieved to find that these are not like lacrosse balls. They have some give to them so they don't cause more pain than they relieve. The only slight negative is that the material of the ball is quite sticky and picks up hairs and other fluff from the floor. They wash off w/ water easily, so not a deal-breaker.

Couldnt be happier
The holistic balls are fantastic- anyone who is suffering from those stubborn aches in glutes, thighs and lower back- these are perfect to use. The small ball is a great addition to the big balls as you can use it in the areas hardest to reach. Thanks for sending the demonstration guide to use the balls. I would highly recommend this product.

Cheap material
Product box came extremely tattered and taped back together. My initial thought was that they were used. The balls themselves seem like overly priced cheaply made large rubber bouncy balls from the toy section. I've used similar massage balls at the gym with much higher quality material.

Muscle pain relief
After years of using all types of tennis, badminton, and every dog toy ball to relieve tight muscles I received these massage balls for Christmas last year. Ive had a shoulder issue for years went to physical therapy and nothing worked to help the pain. After using the holistic fit therapy massage balls I have no pain. So I sent this recently bought set to my dad who is having some muscle issues.
