The media could not be loaded.  Feels really, really good writing with this instrument. Smooth and accurate, different feel than ZFold, much more authentic. Well balanced and weighty, beautifully crafted. Good cartridges shipped with it. Ink dries fast, no smudges. Needs lots of wiping, fingerprint and smudge magnet (can'tbe avoided unless you use gloves). Thankfully, it's shipped with a cleaning cloth. Love that the cap screw on. I will be writing every day lots and lots, and I will report findings.

I now carry this pen everyday, just like the name says - it is an EDC or Every Day Carry item. I always carry it in a shirt pocket or among the buttons of a polo shirt. I do not carry it in my pants pockets or tossed in a bag. Maybe it would be fine but if you need a rugged writing device, grab a pencil. It writes beautifully and has no issues of having to draw the ink out of the nib after sitting with the nib facing up - as when it is in your pocket - so no problems there. The ink flows and drys quickly so no problems there. I do find that for the most comfortable fit in my hand that I do put the cap on the back to make it long enough for longer periods of writing or sketching. A note on the style of nib - this is not a calligraphy pen, it is for writing, just with a broader stroke and I find, for me, it forms more of an italic script. I prefer blue ink so this one is very nice. I bought the Blue EDC pen which is very nice but any color you prefer would be great. Excellent gift idea too!

Very very happy with this pen. It writes beautifully and have great options to use the converter or standard sized cartridges! I bought the fine tip and love it. Worth the money. Heavy and good quality!

I bought a fine-point pen and loved it immediately. The next day I bought another pen, so I could use a different color ink (at the same time). Absolute pleasure to write with these implements.The only caveat is the pens run wide. Normally, I use a medium stroke, but I found a fine-point gives me exactly what I want.The pens accommodate my big hands by having the lid mount onto the rear of the barrel, extending the pen length. If you leave the lid off, the bare barrel has a beautiful, hefty but lightweight, feel. Whoever designed this pen, loves and understands the fountain pen.The price point of this pen is unbelievable. The nib is of highest quality, the most important part of the pen. The writing is flawless and "skipless" if you draw at reasonable speeds. I have much more expensive pens, but not necessarily with the satisfaction of this pen.These are my new everyday writing pens. It will be my go-to present for graduations and other ceremonies.

I use this as my daily pen at work and on the job. I work in construction/ home renovation, love that the cap screws on both ends and stays secure. I would say it’s got a durable finish, it’s taken several hard falls on to concrete and still not one scratch and the nib is also still going strong.

My two Scriveiner pens are fantastic. They look, feel, and write amazingly. And the customer service has been excellent too.

I discovered Scriveiner fountain pens by accident, while looking for a mechanical pencil to give as a gift. Since then, I have bought 2 Scriveiner fountain pens, the full sized black lacquer with gold trim pen, and now the pocket version of the same. For the price - one might expect a "student pen" or an entry level pen, but these pens are much higher quality than the price might indicate. The nib on these pens is very smooth and easy to write with. I can highly recommend these pens to anyone who appreciates a reliable quality pen.

The quality of these, what I call travel size, fountain pens, is flawless. The ink cartridges are the same as for their regular size pens (I own 2 of these) which is great.Travel size, what's that? First of all, when completely closed, they are small enough to fit almost anywhere. The other advantage is that all the connections are screw connections, so there is no danger for potential ink spill, which is great if you are carrying your pen in your suit or even in your shirt pocket.Finally, when using the pen, it is the perfect weight and size, indistinguishable from the other fountain pen offerings by Scriveiner.I also appreciate the offer from customer service support (did not need it) and welcome messages to the Scriveiner family. It may seem like a little thing but it does make a difference as to one's loyalty to a great product.The presentation of the box that holds the pen and cartridges is top notch and I would love to use it but I'm actually using the pen so much that they never find their way back into the box.😀

I wanted to get a smaller sized fountain pen that I could take with me everywhere so I was shopping around for fountain pens that were about pocket sized and saw this one. Now, I will say I was slightly reluctant to purchase this product. Prior to this pen, I had recently purchased the slightly higher end Scriveiner Silver Chrome Fountain Pen with 24k Gold Finish, Schmidt 18k Gilded Nib (medium). I was a little disappointed because with tax I paid just over $75 Cdn for it and it was even on sale. But the ink when I wrote with it kept skipping. It was a bit scratchy as well. I cleaned it and even changed the ink, and although it helped, it didn't resolve the skipping entirely. This resulted in an inconsistent ink on my page (some were nice and deep, other parts looked "soupy". Anyway, long story short, I wasn't sure if I could trust the brand. But then I came across this matte blue pen which was the perfect size that I wanted. The pen looked really good! I figured I'd give it a try and hopefully the first Scriveiner fountain pen I bought was just a one-off. I will say, this "cheaper" pen (it wasn't cheaper by much) is just so much better than the first one I bought. Much better ink flow, it started writing smoothly and it glided across the page much better right off the bat. There's a little skipping with the ink for upward strokes, but nothing like the problem I had before with the other Scriveiner. The only criticism I have for this pen as I wish the cap clicked on and off as that's a lot faster. This one you have to screw off and on. It's not much, but when you need to just pop off the cap to quickly write something... you can't. Not a deal breaker, but I feel like this was a design flaw. Maybe in response to their other pens where a lot of people complained they couldn't place the cap on the end of the pen for when they use it as it kept falling off. This pen allows you to screw it on the end as well so it won't come off while writing. It solved one problem, but at the cost of a bit of convenience. Overall, I'm happy with the product. It's a great size to take around, the blue matte finish is just really beautiful and the writing experience is really good as well. The Japanese Pilot pens in this price range do perform better, but none come in this really attractive blue matte finish.

Todas las plumas Scriveiner que he comprado, son igual de buenas. Muy bonitas, equilibradas, de escritura muy suave y escriben inmediatamente aun habiendo sido guardadas durante muchos días (2 semanas).

Diese Füller ist eine wirkliche Empfehlung! Er hat ein Schreibgefühl wie Füllfederhalter, die mindestens 5 mal teurer sind. Die Feder schreibt butterweich ohne zu kratzen und auch das Gewichtsmanagement ist hervorragend gelungen. Wenn man die Kappe hinten auf den Stift schraubt, dann liegt dieser Stift so komfortabel in der Hand, dass das Schreiben eine Freude ist. Wer gern mit dem Füller schreibt und auch Schreibgeräte hat die um ein vielfaches mehr kosten wird positiv überrascht sein. Dieser Fehler hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Ich bin begeistert.
