Loads nice; good balance between breaking point & nice amount of stretch. Relaxes quickly to normal state; in no way sloppy. No fraying so far.

I have to be honest and say that for me backing is more about filling a fly reel properly so the line doesn't get tight coils in it from an under-filled reel. I can count on one hand the number of times a fish has gotten into my backing in 50 years of fly fishing. This Piscifun backing works fine to fill up the reel arbor so your fly line stays easy to handle and cast. I will definitely buy it again if I need more.

Although this material is intended as fly-line backing, if you are into fishing with a fixed line and a fly, this works very well as a fishing line with Tenkara-type rods: just add a leader and some tippet and floatant and away you go. This is much cheaper than regular floating line, as well as being lighter. Of course, it also works perfectly if used for its original purpose too.
