My thoughts on using this product for the first time… I’ll start by saying if you have never used this before, yes it will be difficult to use! It is literally made out of sugar. It’s sticky and messy especially if you have no experience.Watch the videos, they seemed simple and useless when I watched them but when I actually used the product it was helpful, especially the one about flicking the paste… if your wrist is stiff when you try to do it, it will not work well. I didn’t heat it up, which I probably should have a little but after using it for a bit it softened up. I used gloves as suggested but I think it made it a lot more difficult, the we’re pulling off and eventually ripped the fingertip off one of them. If you’re doing it on yourself it may be easier to do with bare hands.I originally got this to use on my bikini line but did my legs to try it out first, and I suggest that for anyone bc it’s a large area to practice on and get the hang of. The hair needs to be as long as a grain of rice to work. Most of my leg hair was and they hair that was any shorter didn’t come out… so make sure the hair that you are planning to wax is long enough. Exfoliate before and after to avoid ingrown hair. I only did after bc I’m lazy… I also have sensitive skin so to exfoliate I just used a small amount of my regular body wash and table salt, rubbing it on my skin with one of those silicone face scrubbers. The picture is right after I exfoliated.

I like it though for the area I live in it could be a firmer. Even with the ac on in it was still melting a bit to quickly. So for me who is warm and the weather in my area in California I say firmer is probably best. It will use in small amounts like I did when testing because it melts too fast for me. I like that this is true to the recipe because other add oil which make it runny and almost unusable for me. This is a simple recipe but maybe if you make another that is firmer for hot weather waxing would be great. But for now I will use this to continue to practice... truly a great product.

I’m an esthetician and I specialize in sugaring hair removal. I’ve tried lots of pastes including professional lines and this is my favorite paste hands down. The consistency is perfect for gripping hair and even my clients feel a difference when I use this paste; they say it hurts less. Love this paste. My new favorite.

I followed all the recommended steps/tips, but it just didn’t work- it didn’t grab the hair well at all and barely pulled any off, and I could only do one or two sections at most before the paste turned into a gooey mess. Really disappointed.

I was using another brand of sugar but decided to give this one a try, very glad I did! I don’t have to replace my ball of sugar during service at all now. My previous brand I was having to replace 3 times! It grabs the hair better as well!

Make it at home honestly… tough to use and tough to store. Doesn’t do an amazing job either. Way too expensive for what it is and I wish I didn’t buy it.

it does what it needs to, i struggled with it a bit, but that’s more than likely user error. i purchased a applicator separately because it’s too sticky to use hands and i don’t see how anyone does. but again could be user error, but it does what i bought it for
