Great keyboard
Fantastic keyboard. Feels great. The delivery took a bit of time but it got here :)The only downside I can think of is the weight, it's 1.25 kg which is VERY HEAVY for a keyboard. The one I used before was Keychron which weighed 470 grams.Overall very satisfied.

Great Keyboard
TLDR: Light switches and a great keycap profile combine for great typing experience, high end build quality and materials mean it also sounds great.I am not a huge keyboard enthusiast but I've dabbled. Before this I used a Vortex Vibe w/ Cherry Brown switches for years but I was noticing some wrist pain and wanted to switch it up. For reference, that keyboard just laid flat on the desk and had fairly tall SA R3 keycaps (so totally flat profile) on all keys.I was looking for a compact keyboard that had a numpad, arrow keys, and a delete key (you'll note my Vibe was missing arrow keys and a delete key...) so basically compact 1800 layout. I also wanted keycaps that had a spherical indentation while also having overall contoured profile to the layout - not completely flat. Difficult to find all that but the F97 provides. On another note I just wanted it to feel nice. These things are expensive (well, you can spend a lot more in this world, but in general, most people would call me nuts for buying a keyboard this pricey) so I wanted to feel like I got my money's worth.I tried out this keyboard, as well as a couple from Royalaxe (I wanted to try a Nuphy, but didn't bother after trying the Iqunix).Overall the build quality of the F97 is top notch. While the Royalaxe boards I tried (R100 and L98) had nifty features like tiny LCDs or knobs which the Iqunix lacks, this just overall is a great feel in comparison. The Royalaxe's plastic construction provided a fine typing experience, but I didn't like being able to flex the board basically 90 degrees if I wanted to. Just seemed wrong for the price point. The full aluminum chassis of the F97 dis minimal in size, but has nice detailing. My Vortex Vibe was full aluminum chassis, and I didn't want to downgrade from that. Just ties the whole desk together you know? The keys are fun - you'll either love or hate the look, but the feel is great and the print quality is very nice. The profile (KDA, XVX, whatever you want to call it) is a nice compromise - similar to ASA but nice and low profile in comparison. The slight spherical dip is a big improvement over OEM/Cherry profiles IMO, and I love the look of the rounded corners, but that will be personal preference. There are other versions of this keyboard with different designs and profiles, and you can of course switch them to whatever you want anyway. But it's nice to find a great out of the box combo.Sounds great. Overall quiet, but the sounds it does make are nice. You can go watch reviews online - people rave about it. It isn't gasket mounted or anything, but I think I actual prefer this mounting method. One of the Royalaxe boards was gasket mounted and it felt very mushy - although perhaps some would describe that one (L98) as more 'thocky' sounding.I'm coming from Cherry Brown, a tactile switch with 55g activation force. The F97 version I ordered is TTC Gold Pink - linear with 37g activation. The Royal Axe boards I tried were both Gateron Pro Yellow - linear and 50g activation. I was unsure on linear switches and particularly unsure on the 37g activation (but Amazon had a great deal on the Pink Gold version so I went for it). Gotta say, I'm loving the linear switches and light activation force. I feel like I can type way faster. They are smooth, no negative feel, and going back to my Cherry Browns on the Vortex Vibe... the Vibe feels like trash now. The Gateron Yellows were comparable but I prefer the light touch on the Gold Pinks.Full RBG is nice but I mostly don't use it. Sometimes I turn on the 'splash' like animation (radiating circles coming from the keys when you type) in white. Easy to turn it on/off and control the animations. Nice to have I suppose.Wireless works great, I wish there was somewhere to store the little dongle in the keyboard itself.Only two other negatives I can see. The spacebar is a bit hollow sounding vs other keys. Understandable due to the size but everything else is so good that it stands out. Maybe I'm just typing too hard and need to get used to it. Also, the switch for wired/wireless (which also seems to be the 'off' switch for the board, which I imagine saves battery vs keeping it in wireless all the time?) is in a bit of an awkward spot on the bottom, and very tiny. Many other dual/tri mode boards put the switch in a better location and make it larger. But the battery is so big in this, I'm not sure it even matters. I ordered a 'ghost bar' from Nuphy to address the spacebar sound, we'll see if that helps at all. Minor nitpicks.Overall it's great and my wrist hurts a lot less. Probably could do with a wrist wrest to address that further. I don't think anyone considering this board would regret the purchase. It's a nice mechanical keyboard straight out of the box without needing mods. It has a unique looks and a very usable layout.
