I can see
Very bright and best of all, a hell of a lot cooler than the original halogen bulb it replaced. Extremely happy with my purchase.

High quality alternative to halogen tube.
Very good unit. The main body is eccentric to the end connectors and so this will help fit the unit into many light fittings. Much less heat than a standard tube as you would expect for a high efficiency lamp.

Fit and forget
Fabulous! Fitted easily in my uplighters, saves a fortune on halogens and an end to burning moth syndrome. Best of all discovered that the paint and plaster behind one light had become cracked and discoloured by the heat from the halogen (only decorated a year ago)

Mediocre and noisy
Nice bright bulb but don't use it inside as it has a very loud hum when used.

Best replacement so far
These are the first replacements for 140:150watt halogen bulb that are worth having.Almost same warm white output colour and brightness and four 14w "bulbs" certainly cheaper than four 140w r7 and last a lot longer too
