It Works!
They stress repeatedly on multiple instruction pages to double check your vehicle before initiating the programming. It worked easily on our 2011 toyota prius. We purchased the key fob from amazon as well. The brand was "Dasbecan Key Fob Replacement" after seeing another reviewer stating they worked with this programmer. Easily saved hundreds and it took a total of 3 minutes between downloading the app, checking the vehicle and walking to the car to plug it in. You download the app, turn on your bluetooth and connect it to the "EZ" bluetooth. In the app, you enter your make, model, vin and then you connect the physical programmer to the car port. Turn on the ignition and start the programming. You place your original key against the start button, then the new key. Repeat and done. For those reviews with issues, I feel like some may not have checked for capability or maybe struggle with technology but it was incredibly easy. Some complain about it being linked to only one vehicle, well duh! It's copying the programming from the vehicle (which is connected to the vin) onto the device and utilizing that to transfer to the key. If it worked on multiple vehicles it would be able to basically duplicate anyone's keys and steal cars! Why would anyone expect this as a feature doesn't make sense to me. The price point is very reasonable and offers the convenience of avoiding a third party (lock smith, dealership etc..) at a much lower price. You have to have a working key so I would suggest this as preventative measure. For us, our key worked but constantly drained through batteries and would not start up for a few minutes (always eventually working) but it was getting to the point where we felt we needed a secondary key (only received one with the original purchase). This is working much better than our original. Overall, I would recommend.

Excellent product and very easy to use - Exelente producto y muy facil de usar
I had synchronized other remotes in other vehicles and I knew how difficult it was, to move the key, open the door, etc. Still, this system surprised me with how easy it was to do. It did not take the 15 minutes they said, the only problem I had was that I had to restart the process because, in the first synchronization, I placed the remote in the wrong way, perhaps it should show in more detail how to enter the remote control in the synchronization place, but even so I give them a full 5. If I could I would give them a ten, I recommend the system 100%.Yo habia sincronizado otros remotos en otros vehiculos y sabia lo dificil que era, moviendo la llave abriendo la puerta etc, pero este systema me sorprencio lo facil que fue hacerlo y no tardo los 15 minutos que decian, el unico inconveniente que tuve fue que tuve que reinicir el proceso por que en la primera sinconizacion coloque el remoto de forma equivocada, qyuzas deberia mostrar con mas detalle la forma de entrar el control remoto en el lugar de sincronizacion, pero aun asi les doy un completo 5 y si pudiera les diera un diez, el sistema lo recomiendo en un 100%

Can only use this on 1 vehicle then it's locked to that Vin
This worked on a 2016 Ram 2500 but was clunky and the instructions were a little unclear. I was also disappointed I couldn't keep using it for other models it's supposed to work on. It was locked to the 1 truck vin and then unusable for any other vehicles. It's barely cheaper than using a local lock smith at a cost of $70.00. Also you have to have a working key so if you lost all your keys this won't do anything for you.

Didn't pair every feature
This is the second of the EZ Installers that I have used. First one went super slick and easy. This one not so much. Unfortunately, you have to cut the key BEFORE you can pair because it needs to turn on the ignition to be paired. So, I got the key cut ($45 laser cut) and it turned fine in the ignition so I could then pair it. The pairing was "successful". The car started right up. Hooray! Not so fast. None of the fob features worked. I can't lock, unlock or pop the hatch. Nothing... Really sucks but at least the car starts and I only needed a spare key so I've got that going for me...UPDATE: Live and learn! This product works great. Turns out that the replacement key I purchased was sent with the wrong programming code. It was not the fault of the EZ Installer. Take note that when programming a 2012 Subaru Outback key you must perform two completely separate operations. First, you must pair the keys to the car with the EZ installer. You also must pair both the original and replacement at the same time. When the app asks you how many keys you are pairing, select "2". Then it will pair both keys identically. Both keys will now start the car. For the second operation, you must program the fob buttons to unlock, lock, etc. On a Subaru, it is somewhat fiddly but there are many guides online. When reprogramming the original fob, it went easily. With the replacement key, it didn't work. Oh well, the EZ Installer worked perfectly!

Hacked a key together and it still worked !
Ford F150 Raptor 2014 ... Timpsons charge £350+ to do this! The master key had fallen to pieces and all of the innards had been lost. I had a replacement locksmith key as a cloned secondary key, but the previous owner had left MyKey on (MyKey is a Ford setting limited certain functions in the car, like speed if you were giving a key to a new or learner driver)You need a master key to turn off MyKey, and I only had this broken key.I bought a ID63 security chip. There are loads of sites that tell you what chip you need for your car. Cost £2.00Bought a standard car key with no blade for the buttons and circuit board. Cost £10.00I lobbed it all together with the original blade and a bit of tape ... programmed it, and I now have a working master key !Really pleased.

European cars
When I perched it I was under the impression it covered most of the European cars only to find out it does very little. So much so I wish to return and look for one that covers European cars. Can anyone recommend any that covers them

Didn't work for Mazda MX-5 ND which WAS on the list
After 10 minutes of downloading it came up with a security error. Tried twice. Wasted an hour and got nowhere. I tried calling support several times but an answerphone told me they were too busy. I tried e-mailing but my email hasn't been answered as of yet, over a week later. It seems from other reviews that this happens to around half of the customers. But at least I got a full refund from Amazon within a day of returning the item to the UPS drop-off location.
