Most importantly, this set has excellent picture quality, with only minor tweaking of the Movie mode required to get a great image for the majority of viewing scenarios. It's very bright when it needs to be, and offers plenty of detail in darker scenes.The on-screen menus and shortcuts are easy to use with the remote; and Google TV works well as a hub for apps and content. It does put sponsored content right in your face, though that's a Google thing, not TCL.Only issues so far are that brightness settings in SDR and HDR modes don't seem to be independent - I have to change it more often than I would like. Dolby Vision mode retains it's own settings well. I also can't seem to control my Sonos soundbar volume (connected via optical) from the TV remote like I could on my old Samsung.Overall, it's great value for money and significantly cheaper than Samsung/Sony models in the same class.

It's not easy to choose a TV. After some research I decided to pick TCL due to few online reviews.You get what you pay for, this isn't in the bad way, you can't just compare to a £2k Sony or Samsung.For my daily use, YouTube, Disney, Prime, and some PS5 Gaming the TV is brilliant. Image is good and the sound is great.Been a Google TV brings all the good stuff, easy to download and install apps.Probably not recommended if you're a cinema quality fantastic and wants a top notch TV with the best image and sound quality. But this TV do a great job.

I received my TV 2 days after ordering, Marks Electrical did an efficient job sending it out.. however when i set it up, i discovered the screen was broken. They quickly replaced it couple of days later. The new TV works properly and I would say picture quality is on par with my LG CX 55" with some tuning.The only problem is it has some loosing screws inside the body. I managed to shake it out by removing the IR receiver below. It all works properly, nothing complaining right now, but I'm still concern about longer term, will it break.TCL really need to improve the QC.

Bought this TV after much researching. Was within my Budget and I couldn't be more pleased.

C845K and C841K are the same TVs, yet they sell C845K for 100-200£ more. C845 is the original name, C841 is "Amazon exclusive" name, exactly the same TV.

I have a 5.1 surround sound system so the sound of the TV hasn't even being used.This TV is all about the quality of the picture and it doesn't disappoint.The image is sharp and luminosity of the picture is outstanding. 4k HDR has never looked this impressive and due to the peak brightness, would outclass loads of OLED TV's.If this TV was Sony, LG or Samsung, you could probably expect to pay significantly more. You will not get a better deal on a TV with these specs and quality anywhere.Just buy the TV and thank me later.

THIS telly is Brilliant .

I purchased this TV since it had good reviews on what Hifi and seemed good value for money. The only thing no one tells you is that it doesn't support some of the major freeview apps in the UK (Channel 4, BBC iPlayer). So no problem if you're only watching subscription services but if you actually want to watch catch up it's beyond useless.Apparently TCL used to provide TV sticks to circumnavigate this major issue but contacting them today I was told since they're working on a software fix, they're no longer doing this.So now I'm stuck with a TV that's useless for what I bought it for and having to battle my way to get my money back. Save yourself the hassle and buy a decent TV. Not sure how What Hifi could seriously recommend this to anyone in the UK...
