We are new owners of a hot tub and a girlfriend recommended we get one of these covers. Did some research and decided to try this one. It's really cold here and wasn't sure what it would do. We put this on and when we went to open hot tub our cover has ice on it. Which means this is doing what it's designed to do. Keeping the heat in the hot tub and saving our cover

Size as advertised. I carefully cut the cover to match the inside dimensions of my spa (not a perfect square with seat cut outs).I’ve used it a couple of weeks now. Works well. Easy to fold up and place back down. Wondering if I will see any electric power bill savings from this additional cover? I hope so.

This is the second time we have purchased this for a hot tub.It insulates the water preventing loss of heat, along with the spa cover.It's easy to trim for a perfect fit.I highly recommend this product.It saves money for one major factor, in keeping your tub covered. We have used left over pieces to cover our ornamental fish pond during occasional cold winter temperatures.It's durable, and the quality it pretty heavy duty bubble plastic. I would order it again if needed. The one we ordered several years ago is still serviceable, we bought a new tub, so we needed a bigger cover, which was the reason for a reorder.

Works as it should. Easy to cut to shape with household scissors.

First of all, I see a lot of confusion from people here thinking this is a cover for their hot tub. Nothing can be further from the truth. This is a cover for the WATER IN THE HOT TUB!(It's best to use this in conjunction with a normal insulated spa cover.) You measure the largest dimension of your tub to determine which size blanket to order. Then stretch out the blanket across the top of the tub, using tape or added hands to help keep the blanket taunt, and use a Sharpie to draw on the blanket the shapes in the tub you want to cut around to let the blanket lie flat on the water. (Remember, the bubbles face the water.) Use scissors to cut out the areas you've marked and test the fitment in the tub. It's ok for some of the material to flow up the sides as long as they contact the side and don't have a gap from material flopping over from being too long. Take your time getting the cuts just right. The fewer gaps around the edges means less steam escaping, which helps lower the times the heater will come on, thus in turn saving on your power bill!

This has saved me from having to fill the tub because of evaporation. I put this down first and then the cover on and it is working like a gem. It holds the temp as well.

I bought this because of the reviews and since our heavy cover needed replacement thought this a good alternative. Cut easily with scissors but it doesn't stay flat in our tub. Continued to buckle so probably wouldn't buy again.

Turned out it doesn't have a seam in the middle as many of my previous covers had so will probably last longer and more hygenic as those with seams accumulate mold.
