So far I've only tried these on wood, but they were a massive improvement over the woodcutting burr that came with the tool. That thing was a complete piece of junk that barely cut, and these are a world of improvement. I'm only using an 8V cordless tool and they work out great with that.I originally ordered the "4PCS,L+S Head" just to spend the least money to try them out, but for pinpoint woodcarving I'd recommend the sharper ones like "20PCS,S Head" which is what I just ordered.Generally speaking, you're going to be better off ordering a good version of whatever bits you need and not one of these "500 pcs aWeSoMe DoOd AcCeSsOrIeZ rotary tool KiT!"Update: The smaller bits such as the ones in the "20PCS,S Head" set seem to have shanks that are a bit short. If fully inserted then the entire shank will be in the collet with only teeth exposed. They really ought to add another 1/4-1/2" to these.

I really like that these bits work on metal and do so without compromising the integrity of the bits. I also like that this set comes in a simple plastic case for storage. They fit my Dremel rotary tool well. They certainly seem quality made from seemingly quality materials. I use this with my Dremel tool to carve my son's pumpkins works perfectly after looking at reviews I think I'm going to try it on other items but well worth the price can't find these around local hardware stores and it fits my Dremel tool perfectly

Got these to experiment with cutting small holes into glass bottles. I was a little skeptical at first but it works great. Makes a precise hole so my string of lights can fit through it

These bits fit work great in my Dremel tool. They seem to be made of high-quality carbon steel and are comparable to those made for the Dremel. They seem to get hot a lot more quickly than my drum ones do, and quickly stained when using them to cut through some oak and Hickory in a project. Pattern seems accurate. They are very cost-effective especially if you don’t need extremely precision bits. Recommended.
