Bought it for my grandson for Christmas, tried to set it up and make sure it works before giving it to him, glad I did because the remote just didn't work with the car, did everything the instructions said, everything works as for it connecting, the blinking light and steady light when powering on the car, but just won't do more than that, no movement or sound of turning on, nothing. I will definitely need the remote as my grandson is still too young to drive it on his own.....after this I contacted the seller and they instructed me to find the RC switch underneath the seat, next to the charging port, which has a clear plastic cover that needs to get screwed off first, then you switch it to remote mode. This worked... hope it helps others.
