La BlancaWomen's V-Neck Halter Tankini Swimsuit Top

Purchased in Hunter/Beyond the Jungle colorFit: I am 5'11", 155 lbs, 34D, 28" waist, size 6-8 dress. The size 8 was a perfect fit, like it was tailored to me. If you are tall or long-torsoed like me, it will show a little of your midriff. The feel is supportive and stable; I will definitely be able to attend mommy/daughter swim lessons in this thing with no worries about popping out. I would say the torso part runs tight, so if you are between sizes I would go with the size up. I truly appreciate the snugness though, because I feel like every other tankini I've bought has been super baggy around the waist making me look bigger than I am. This does not do that.Fabric: Absolutely stunning. The green is a beautiful color, and the print is high quality and looks expensive. The cups of the top have a nice feel like they will hold up well to washing.This is the only tankini top I have found that truly fits me without being baggy in the waist or too tight in the boobs. La Blanca is the brand to get (or at least try, since hey, free returns!).

In the end, I bought this elsewhere because Amazon didn't have my size any longer, but wanted to comment on the fit for folks like me who might be having the trouble I was.Regardless of the sizes on the tops, I had a very hard time finding one that fit me, and tried a bunch of sizes before finding one that fit me. I'm 160 pounds, and my bra size is normally a 38 D. I wear a large, sometimes xl in tops. So I went with what seemed like the right size: a 16, a 14, a 14 plus (because busty), even an 18. All were huge on me. The 14 finally kind of fit, but I was worried I might fall out of it as it didn't feel as secure as it could. Finally I ordered a 12, and it felt tight in the band area, but I could tighten it up enough that it felt secure. That's what I ended up keeping. It's fairly low cut, but because of the halter can be tightened enough to be secure. I spent hours in pretty rough surf body surfing, and this top DOES NOT MOVE once you get it right (I was impressed by that!). It also dries quickly and feels good on. Also, and this was important to me and may be to others: the top does not float up immediately in the water but stays close to the body as it should.I'm really happy I got it, but I spent a lot of time ordering and returning before I could get the right size, and I didn't expect to end up with a 12, but it worked. I quite like the top overall as well as a pair of bottoms I got separately (much easier sizing there!) I hope this lasts a long time, because it was a pain to find the right fit, but I am very much enjoying the tankini top now! One star off for how hard it was to find a size that fit.

This is a very pretty tankini top but it definitely runs SHORT in the length.

This was the worst fitting bikini ever!

Beautiful deep color of plum! I love that the ruched sides keep you from showing any pudge at the belly area. Also, the plunge is flattering, making you look longer and leaner because of the halter. It shows a bit of cleavage, but they don't move in the water. Also, the padding cup is great. No poking through at all. The length is good for me, quite average, but then I don't wear bikini bottoms. I have some swim shorts, which have a higher waist. If I were to buy again, I might get this in another color. It's awesome. Best swimsuit look on me in years!

This suit is all-around great. Stylish pattern, comfortable, and most importantly--it stays on. I have had no problems with the pads shifting around, which is a big pain in previous bikinis and tankinis that I've owned; it can be hard to shift the pads back in place once a big wave knocks them off kilter. No such issues with La Blanca's top. I paired it with La Blanca's shirred hipster bikini bottom in black. I hope to use this combo for many years to come.

Liked the tankini top. Decently made and bright pretty colours. BUT, bought a size 14 (my usual size) and the boob cups are enormous while the bodice is very snug and a bit short. I'm usually a 38/40B cup, big ribcage which was snug, but the cups are 1/2 empty, all air. Also have a longish torso and this shortish tankini might work for me with a higher waist bottom of some sort. But must return as cups just TOO big.
