Not the lightest hammock, but an amazing value that's more than worth the small price tag.
The media could not be loaded. I'll admit that I don't take the time to write many reviews. However, I felt compelled to write a review for my new Kootek hammock. Before I go any further, I'd like it known that I have no affiliation with Kootek whatsoever. I'm just impressed with the product. That said, if anyone from Kootek happens to read this, feel free to send me any other products you'd like me to review. 😁But I digress. I've been in the market for a new hammock for a while now. After reading a handful of positive reviews from reputable sources, along with all of the Amazon reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I'm a larger guy (6', 260lbs) so I went with the double hammock, and as a much welcomed upgrade over my prior setup, the bug net. I received the hammock in early May, and I've had two opportunities to take it out camping thus far. Let me just stop right here and say that it exceeded my expectations on both trips by a wide margin. The hammock itself is a breeze to set up. Just pick which side you want to use - bug net or no bug net - wrap the straps around the trees, and hook up the hammock at the desired height. The straps have loops that make adjustments super simple. If using the bug net, there are two small elastic cords with plastic clips on each end. There are little plastic triangles on the bug net to which the clips connect. Connect one end of the cord to the triangle, walk around the tree with the cord, and connect the other end to the other triangle. Move the cord up and down the tree to adjust the height of the net.I will say that I always use some sort of padding when camping in a hammock. A friend of my recently gave me half of a memory foam mattress topper that fits perfectly, so that's what I've been using. I mention this solely for the sake of full disclosure. I did get in the hammock without any padding when I first set it up, but I've not yet used it on its own, so my experience is somewhat skewed. My first night in the hammock was fantastic. The weather was perfect, and I slept like a baby. The second night a thunderstorm blew through the area. Thankfully, my tarp and drip lines kept me dry all night (and most of the next morning). Now for the cons. Good news is there are only a couple. Like most gathered end hammocks, the sides tend to curl and close in around my head when laying in the hammock. Not a huge issue, just a minor annoyance. My other complaint is with the bug net, specifically its design. There's a significant amount of netting in between the triangle clips. As a result, the netting hangs down and will brush my face if I shift the wrong way. Again, just a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nevertheless. With all of that said, I honestly cannot recommend the Kootek hammock highly enough. It's proven to be an exceptional option at an affordable price. I will be sure to update this review if things change with further use.

Very easy and lightweight!
First off I want to point out how easy this is to install! The hammock itself is attached to the outter carrying bag so you never loose it! The straps for the trees are tree friendly leaving no marks! Easily adjustable too! I love that one side has a net (attached to the hammock) and is reversible! One side you can use as a regular hammock and flip it over and you got the net side! one side has a zipper which you would get into. (Small pocket on the inside for phone or whatever). Theres two bungie straps with hooks for the netting to be put up. Super easy to install! the net itself has 4 hooks, two on either side for the bungie strap. you hook it and wrap around a tree and then hook the other side and the net stays up! Its big enough for two people easily (or one very large person). My son and I hangout on this comfortably with extra room. Super easy to set up and take down! all fits back into the bag it came in!

Seems good, but bug net design stupid.
Seems decently made and super easy to hang. The only beef I have is that where the d-rings are located on the bug net. They're at the "four corners", instead of just two at either end to create a Ridgeline. So if you hook up to the same trees you used to hang the hammock, there will be a huge dip in the middle, running along the hammock line. It's almost as if they used too much netting material as well. A simple, single ridge line would have been better and kept the netting up.It to combat this you can hang the netting to trees perpendicular to your hammock, so you can pull the D hooks further apart and take up some of that slack, but 1) you may not have two trees on either side of your hammock, and 2) that may interfere with hanging a rainfly. For the money, I'll deal with it, but just kind of a dumb design. Could've built the thing with half the netting and cut some weight.

So nice we bought another. . .
I have used a Kootek 210T double hammock for a few years--it is still going strong despite being left in the elements too often. It served us better than two other similar brands, so I recently upgraded to the Kootek 210T with mosquito netting attached. After giving it a try we are very satisfied it is as strong and professionally made as our first hammock, and look forward to bugless days and nights. Pay close attention to the hanging instructions, especially for the net support cables. My only improvement would be that Kootek could supply a drawing/diagram for the best version of hanging the elastic ties for the mosquito net, as there are options. Know that you are actually stretching the net into a rectangular shape, not a pointed tent-flap shape. The four clips and cables to hang the mosquito net are supplied, along with two webbed tree straps to hang the hammock. The double size (called Large here) is accessed through an open zipper that closes the mosquito net when inside the hammock. Only one side of the hammock unzips. It has a weight capacity of 500 lbs, and is comfortable if hung properly. Pay attention to height suggestions for hanging. One nice feature is that the netting has some elasticity, some give when pressure is applied--reduces the risk of tears. And it is see through, a light gray material, fine mesh that lets light through. There is an interior pocket for small gear or holding a cellphone. And the hammock is convertible--hang it upside down if you want to use it without the mosquito net cover (it lies underneath but cannot be detached. Still very efficient.)There is a warranty and Kootek gives excellent customer service. We highly recommend their hammocks, and have done comparisons.
