Really nice journal - the first thing I noticed was the nice smell. Not sure why I was expecting that pungent leather smell, but this was a pleasant surprise. The finish is nice and feels good, and the closure strap is pretty tight which is good. Paper quality is good, and the way the binding is it lays pretty flat, so there isn't a huge crease in the middle. Overall a nice journal, solidly stitched and put together, looking forward to sketching in it.

Great little notebook - I like the feel of the leather and the pen holder is a great addition since I lose pens all the freakin' time. I wish they had a lined version, but it's a small nitpick.

Bought this for my husband's birthday... he has been wanting a cool "leather" journal for ages. It took me so long to finally find one I was okay with buying! Love that it's vegan, and eco friendly. Love what this brand does.He really loved it! Smells great, and love that you can replace the papers once it's filled. :)

Writing and taking notes in my journal has been very enjoyable so far. It looks nice in the pictures, but I was surprised at how durable and well made the journal actually is, and that makes all the difference. I took it with me to a 6-day seminar and used it all the time. I can honestly say I enjoyed this journal way more than I thought I would. Highly recommended.

This was bought as a gift for a leaving professor. As he is hindu, I had to ensure that the cover was faux leather. I was amazed to find out the quality of the pages was so awesome and best part is that it was also recycled paper. I loved it and so did he. Will definitely recommend and would purchase again should the need arise.

Great journal. The hand on the leather feels genuine and the size is compact yet still large enough to take notes on. Looking forward to using it for a long time to come!

Oddly enough, it smells great. The cover feels amazing and the paper is a great weight. I think i will get some as gifts soon

I'm impressed with the quality of the journal! Looks like a real high quality leather journal, and the stitching inside is perfect. Also really like that the paper is 100% post consumer recycled, and that they plant a tree for every journal.
