VIGOR PATH Olive Oil and Vinegar Dispenser - Perfect for Measuring, Pouring and Refilling, Glass Oil for Easy Cleaning, Elegant Clear Glass Bottle with Labeled Measurements (500ml)

This device is intended for use with oil or vinegar (although it could conceivably be suitable for other liquids) in the kitchen. The design features a fairly large glass container, atop which sits a silicone-type set of pump buttons in a metal frame, and atop that a small plastic container with a pouring spout and liquid measurements marked in teaspoons, tablespoons, and milliliters. Liquid is pumped from the glass container to the plastic section via the pumping buttons which draws the liquid through a plastic tube.The first photo shows all of the pieces of the unit when it is disassembled for cleaning. The second photo shows the assembled empty unit, and the third shows the unit filled with vegetable oil, a portion of which has been pumped to the top. (You may need to click on the last two photos to see the full height of the device.)It took several pumps to fill the pouring section up to the level shown. While I think that would be a worthwhile function (it saves using another measuring device that would have to be cleaned), I think its uses are somewhat limited because it would be cumbersome to use this item to dispense a larger amount of liquid, and would probably not be necessary for smaller amounts unless the user really needed a precise measurement of the amount of liquid to be used.The first time I reassembled the device after taking it apart to clean it, it did not pump properly. It turned out that the tube and the connector lid were not secured properly. So if you experience that issue, just make sure everything is properly seated and tightened.I should note that the first unit I received was damaged (the plastic section on top was cracked and broken) but it was replaced immediately.

This VIGOR PATH Olive Oil and Vinegar Dispenser came well-packaged and was ready to be used. Upon Opening up the little Box, I noticed that my Dispenser didn’t have a Metal Tip, as shown in some Photos in the Description. The Hard Plastic Top and the Clear Acrylic Oil Chamber don’t have a good Connection because they aren’t aligned very well.That confused me into thinking that the Metal Tip may have gotten lost on the Way because the Oil pours out through the Metal Tip. So, I asked for a Replacement. And yet again I received a Dispenser with no Metal Tip, with the same bad Alignment between the Top and the Oil Chamber. So: Some of the Photos are incorrect Description of what Product you will actually receive.As for the Oil Dispensing Mechanism: It works by pressing on the round Silicone Buttons on both Sides. The Clear Acrylic Oil Chamber shows Markings to measure how much Oil you’d need for your Needs.Overall, for this Price, this is a decent Oil Dispenser. The Bottom Glass Bottle can be cleaned and refilled easily. I wish the Top and the Oil Chamber would have a better Alignment. I would have preferred a Glass Oil Chamber to Acrylic because the latter Material can break easily.

I've used the oil dispenser twice and the plastic measuring cup broke at the threads. I looked at the smaller dispenser and it's already cracked. I've never even used it. Very disappointed.*Update*After reviewing this product, the company reached out to me and offered to replace my dispensers. I changed from a one star to a four star because of the excellent customer service.

On the 3rd day the Plastic top of the 500ml dispenser that screws onto the pump portion of the dispenser just snapped off, minimal pressure applied to unscrew. Cheap plastic, the only reason I still gave it 2 stars is the smaller 250ml dispenser is working fine, so far.I could not return just the larger one that broke and I wanted to keep the smaller one. So my loss.7/5/23 - Update:The seller replied quickly to my review which I did not expect and sent me a replacement dispenser within a few days.This was great customer service and for that I am adding another 2 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought 4. Only one is broken. Overall I do like them. The other ones are working perfectly. I would give it a 5 but since one broke with in couple of days. Praying the others will not.

Gud control of oil usage

Push button was just a glued on illusion. Returned immediately.

Let me start off by saying that I had previously reviewed a very similar product that seems to have the same top and dispensing mechanism as does this product. I loved it, could get just the right amount of oil premeasured right from the dispenser and into the pan. For this reason, I would continue to give high stars for this type of product.Now for the caution. Notice on one of the photos that the measuring cup screw-on area is broke. It is pretty thin plastic and doesn't take much for it to break. The plastic on this topper looks pretty much the same as the one I have that is broken. Don't make the mistake I did and try to refill, tighten, or loosen any part of the dispenser except where the silver-colored base meets the glass. That is the only area you should probably try to unscrew when cleaning or maintaining this type of dispenser without distressing or breaking it. The tops on this product from Vigor path appear almost identical so I'd carefully watch how you treat the top part of it.While on the subject of cautions, notice the three oil bottles on my stove which includes this set. The red bottle is for olive oil. You should know that olive oil will deteriorate in sunlight which is why that oil is in a dark ceramic bottle. I'm using this set for canola oil and vegetable oil which should be less sensitive to sunlight. Also know that the labels on these dispensers were added and are not included with the product. I bought a set of labels from Amazon for identifying kitchen pantry items.
