Brushes up hair, but bristles are a little long to get a good swipe
I think this product would work much better if the bristles were just a little bit shorter. It seems like they don't get enough grip on the hair to pull it up easily. It works, but I think it could be better.

Cats love this brush
Add a little water to the brush and it will work even better on your cat. Also amazing as a furniture brush to pick up hair.

Okay pet brush, but not great
I ordered this brush for my cats and I have to say it isn't great. The bristles seem to be a bit too flexible to do any actual brushing, so they just sort of lay over and rub across the surface of the cat's hair. Because the surface of the bristles is a tad sticky the friction will pull some hair loose, but it doesn't stay on or in the brush very well and so it goes everywhere. I noticed while brushing the cat the hair was becoming statically charged and sticking to the wall as well as the front of my shirt. After I finished I removed what little hair was in the brush and tried to throw it in the garbage can, but it didn't want to let go. I'm sure the cat was entertained watching me slinging my hands into the can like something crazy! I'm not sure what anti-static features it is supposed to have, but maybe they just mean it won't accumulate a lot of voltage and then hit your pet with a lightning bolt...Overall, both cats seemed to enjoy me rubbing this across their fur once they got over being scared of how it looked. But, as far as grooming goes, I didn't feel like it did a lot. I will probably put this away and hold on to it in case I ever need something like it in the future, but I don't think I will be using it for now. If your pet has special needs and requires something like this it will probably be good. Otherwise, you probably want to stick with the ordinary variety of brushes.
