I introduced these to our 6 and 7 year old grandchildren. I was concerned that they might have trouble filling them with water. I filled a 5 gallon bucket with water and dumped the individual, reusable balloons into it. After a few tries the 6 year old quickly caught on as to how to open them under water and fill them. She was able to show the 7 year old how to fill them when he arrived. As adults sat around and talked in the backyard, the two children happily entertained themselves by throwing the balloons around the backyard and at each other. One concern that I initially had was that the balloons might be hurtful when thrown at a part of a child's body. This was not the case. The refillable balloons provided a lengthy time of fun with no adult intervention necessary. Their bright colors make them easy to locate when the water play time is over. I did discover that the "vinyl" hinge on one "balloon" had ripped off. However. the magnets on the remaining sphere halves made it still possible to continue to reuse it. These can provide no mess water fun for children and adults. We plan to order more for our other grandchildren.

If you're expecting to throw these and have them burst open on contact, spraying water in all directions like a classic water balloon, then you'll be disappointed. Depending on how hard their thrown and the angle at which they hit you could end up with it bouncing off or only opening part way and getting someone wet well below where they are hit. However, my experience with these is at least as good, if not better than any of the "fill 50 balloons at one time" style water balloons. Those don't pop at all unless poked with something sharp. These are still great for games like distance catch, etc., and it's great not to have any clean up afterward.

These are nice. Bright playful colors. The magnets are tiny and hold tge water in. They are easy to fill but you have to fill them under water.My kids did get slightly frustrated with them ,you need to be very gentle when pickthem up and throwing or they pop before they hit the target.They enjoyed them much more in the pool when they were quicker to fill and they could just squeeze them to splash eachother.They don't feel great getting with at close distance, but they aren't much different then a regular water balloon. I do appreciate the mesh bag they come with.

My kids have played with these at the pool and we’re begging for some of their own. These are terrific and lots of fun! The magnets were decent and the material held up well. My kids were able to fill them easily and throw them. One did break as the material ripped. I think the seams around the magnets could be a bit stronger but, in general, these are holding up pretty well.

I have a few different brands of this type of product, and this one is thinner than others. I don’t expect it to wear well. Otherwise, it works as promised and fills quickly and easily. Magnets are a must and these work well.

These fill well and burst appropriately, but the magnets are not completely covered like the other ones we have, and today I had to reinsert two magnets into the grooves on separate balloons. This could be a real danger to small children.

Just okay. These do not seem to be as well-made as others. They are somewhat usable. Maybe if I had not used other reusable magnetic water balloons I would think these are good. Like others have said, these are flimsy, the magnets do not do a great job, and they "burst" just handling them when full of water. To me, the point of water balloons is to be able to throw them, but these will burst on the person throwing.

Kids love them!
