This product is super absorbent. Yes, there is a strong odor when you open the package, this may be due to its natural properties; however, if you follow the instructions and soak it and then let it dry the odor goes away and is not an issue. I have been using it for a week now and it absorbs water quickly and dries just as fast. I love the additional pieces and use one for the soap and one for my toothbrush and toothpaste. I highly recommend. My daughter also purchased for her bathroom.

Love this stone mat outside of my shower and it absorbs quickly however, I do wish it were a bit bigger.

This is a bath mat made of stone (feels stiff and will not bend) and makes you feel as if you're at a spa. This comes with a bath mat, a rectangular sink caddy, a circular coaster, a non slip pad for the bath mat, and three circular sanding pads to buff out any deformities/scratches/marks.The post doesn't state the height of the items, which may or may not affect your decision: 1/4 inch tall.These items dry very quickly and works as advertised. You can watch as the water gets absorbed and the item look as if it was dry the whole time. Because this is made of stone, it feels like you're stepping on a flat rock. There is no cushion, please do not expect to be stepping on something soft. The included anti-slip mat fits perfectly and works great under the bath mat. It prevents the stone mat from moving and also protects your floor in case of scratches.Each item has an icon of 3 rocks stacked together and the brand name on the face of the items. It would have been nice if the brand name "Ecologican" was printed on the side of the items because it doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing when directly on the face of the items.The mat was a little small for our liking. Would have liked to have a slightly bigger mat so that our out-swinging shower door could leak water on the mat instead of on both the mat and the floor. It also felt a bit small because we like to dry ourselves on the mat instead of in the shower, so after a shower, water would drip on the floor, instead of only on the mat.

This bath mat stone absorbs water quicker than most bath mats would. It is hard which makes it slightly uncomfortable. Plus, it is tiny. There is a pretty 3 stones stacked design on top. I would recommend a small bathroom/shower. I'm not a massive fan of it being in my more oversized bathroom. I think it makes it look smaller!

Ok, so I'm a little torn on this one. It absorbs like nothing I've ever tried, I mean I testing pouring an entire tumbler of water and not a drop spilled off the mat! That said, as one would expect given the material, it does have a slightly funky smell. After a few days I no longer notice it (and I should note that I have a freakishly strong sense of smell), and my husband barely noticed to begin with, so it probably wouldn't be an issue for most. While it absorbs incredibly well, it's an adjustment to step out of the shower onto something hard and a little cold when used to a soft warm mat. And I wish that it the logo wasn't so prominent, I prefer just a plain design on a bath mat. That said, I'm slowing getting used to it, and you definitely cannot beat it for absorbency and love that it's naturally anti-bacterial. The extra items are great too, I'm actually using one as a coaster (probably the most effective coaster ever) and one as a sink mat for my hand wash and lotion. Really effective, just an adjustment from the usual soft, comfy mat.

This is an AWESOME stone mat set! I have been so pleased with the incredible absorbency the stone has. It is much nicer to step out of the shower onto this rapid dry stone than a fuzzy old floormat. This dries your feet so quickly they feel like they're sticking to it! I also love this set because it comes with two little caddies for your lotion/toothbrush and soap. These are the same good quality and keep the area a lot cleaner. All of the stones are easy to clean and you are provided with four sandpaper circles for any stains that come about. I am told the sandpaper can buff these stains out but I have not had to use them yet. These are rigid and nonflexible and are not natural rock but a manmade slab of diatomaceous earth, so it will feel a little different than an actual slab of rock. They are thin but sturdy with the right use. If you were trying to break it, then you probably could. But if you use it as a mat or caddy on a flat bathroom surface you will be just fine.The mat has a rubber mesh that it sits on to prevent any sliding, but they are two separate pieces that cannot be sealed together. This makes cleaning easy and the stone doesn't usually move from that area so it hasn't bothered me. The smaller caddies do not have a rubber mesh. The mat is a wonderful nonslip while still being smooth and nice to the touch. I have loved this upgrade from the fabric rug and have had a great experience with this stone set.

I order this for in front of our shower but I just could not get use to the feel of it, just to hard for our liking. The stone is also to small in my mind. It does absorb water with out a doubt so we decided to use it under our dogs water bowl and this is a game changer for us! We are using the round stone in our bathroom for our water glass. I haven't use the long small stone yet but thinking it would be a great addition in our kitchen for our sponges.
