I bought the flybomb trainer ball for my daughter to use. She does not know how to play tennis. Myself have played tennis for years. I think the ball bounces nicely. The base for the string is heavy and solid, without any movement when you hit the ball. I received two set of strings and balls so one is a backup I suppose. Overall it’s solid build and provide a convenient option to practice hitting on your own anywhere you have a bit open space and flat ground. It might be even better if two kids play it at the same time and each can take turns to hit.Btw thanks for the gift that comes with the order. It’s nice surprise

I bought this to help practice my ground strokes, and while it’s nice that the ball won’t go flying far away because it’s attached to the string and weighted base, I was disappointed in that it doesn’t bounce back and allow you to simulate a rally. I’m only giving two stars because the set came with a cool “Roland-garros” string dampener and their brand’s grip tape which was easy to apply to my racket and it’s been holding up well. But for the main product itself, one star.

It took a little while to get used to playing with this. If you hit a shot that does not go over the weighed base, the ball comes back well wide of you and likely out of reach. When you get a little practice, you get better at predicting the return trajectory, and when you make sure to hit pretty much over the base, then the ball is easy to play again upon return.I have not hit a full force ground shot, since I do not have confidence that the Flybomb would be able to absorb the impact and it would take quicker reactions and movements than I can make to be able to continue play.Still, this is a good way to get a little exercise and to practice basic ground shots. It is also a great way to warm up at home before going to play.
