I wish I had read this a few years ago, but still better late than never! Dr Kuriakose lists out great advice for making a student competitive. well written and easy to read!

This is an amazing resource for middle school/high school students and their families who are interested in knowing more about the different pathways towards a Medical Doctoral degree and the various opportunities in the field. This is an easy read that has the great perspective of a first hand account. Really great tool for school counselors to share as well!

I’d say the most useful part of this book is the author’s guidance on interviewing. He gives the high school student (who’s probably preparing for their first interview) structured ways to answer any question. I went ahead and purchased the online course as a supplement which was hugely beneficial.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My kids are getting older and interested in the medical field. This gave us a good idea of what the process was for looking into schools and their applications. Quick and easy read. Worth every penny!
