Great chair for the price!
I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and comfort of this chair! I was concerned at first because there aren't too many reviews. I'm glad I didn't buy a more expensive chair. I wanted a chair I can sit crossed legged on (which means I don't like weird curves on the seat). This chair has a flat/straight seat and I can cross my legs easily with the arms of the chair up or down. I also like that the seat is wider compared to others and that it's on the firm side. I prefer not sinking into my seat but it also isn't overly firm that it's uncomfortable. This chair replaced an the Staples Carder Fabric Chair I had for 3 years (which I don't recommend) where I couldn't put the arms up and the seat took a while to get use to (the edge sloped down - not ideal for sitting criss/cross).I can't speak to the longevity of it yet since I've only had it for a week but I hope it lasts me a few years before replacing.

Very happy with this office chair at this price!
I weigh just under 400 pounds and spend a lot of time in front of a computer so I needed an office chair to support my weight and my time working at my desk. After looking at so many other chairs that claimed to be strong enough to support me and their reviews, I took a chance on this chair and I'm glad I did.The chair was easy to put together by myself and took less than 30 minutes. A tool is even included so you shouldn't have to open your toolbox. The chair is a combination of metal and plastic and seems built to last. All the screws went in correctly. In the last two weeks that I've used it so far, no creaking or any other indication of fatigue. The wheels roll nicely even over carpet. One of my better purchases from Amazon. Thanks!

First impressions
Very sturdy. Fit and finish isn't the best, but considering the price point, a fantastic buy! Piston seems to be strong. The legs are very well made of strong steel. The wheels seem up to the task. Easy to assemble with good instructions and a few extra parts. The assembly tool is included. As with anything, assemble loosely and tighten fasteners only when together. I used the box as a platform to assemble it and a trash can as I unwrapped the parts. I'd recommend installing the headrest to the last. Use caution, the fasteners can cross thread easily. The fasteners thread easily without force and have thread locker already applied. Time will tell on durability. If it lives up to the first impressions, I'll buy a few more.Assembly time was under 15 minutes.

Slightly too firm and hard to assemble fairly good chair.
As stated the seat is a little harder then I like but it is not horribly bad. The assembly was a bit worse as some of the holes to screw into the threaded area behind in one instance was offset enough to where if not proficient at assembling things it would be a problem and one threaded hole for the seat mount that was angled. made me think I was cross threading the bolt but everything was turning easy, after triple checking I just sent it. I felt the threaded portion shift as the bolt bottomed out square and flat.Other then those issues the chair sits well and the height is excellent. The arms swing up and fully out of the way letting me play guitar comfortably as well as push the chair all the way into the desk. This gives a lot more room then the prior chair allowing me to move around the small area the desk is in.Nice chair but defiantly not for the first time assembling something.*****9 Month Review******The chair has held up extremally well. My days are not easy on my chair and the Lazyboy I had proir had 7 tightening sessions in this same time fraim and I am doing the First one now. The seat has hardened a bit more and the right arm is freer then the left to lower but not floppy. They get raised and lowered 15 to 20 times a day. I consider that to be good on the durability of the arms which was a major concern during purchase. The only real issue that I have is that when getting up and sitting down the adjustable lumbar support will occasionally shift position and I figure it out after sitting for a while and my back starts hurting. It moves about 2 clicks. Not enough to instantly know but you do end up feeling it and readjusting it. Over all on a 1 to 10 for longevity I would currently give it an 8.

It isn't well-padded or terribly tall
I am about 5'10 and weigh about 415 lbs, so this seemed like a good purchase for me. However, I have two issues with this chair. One, the padding on the seat is rather too thin for the intended audience of a big sitter; I can feel it rapidly compress under my weight and so I have had to add an additional cushion to help address this. The also relates to the second issue: the chair is very low to the ground. My knees are still bent, but since chairs tend to settle as they age and their gas cylinder wears, I expect I will soon find it a bit uncomfortable. The lumbar support is meh, the head rest isn't really relevant to me due to how I sit, and I keep the arm rests folded back because they are a little too close to my sides. Again, for a chair advertised for someone big and tall, it feels rather low, close, thinly-padded, and underwhelming. I switched out the casters for a set of replacements, so I cannot speak to their level of racket or glide. The chair was on the cheaper side of things, so it may be a case of I got what I paid for. I don't have any strong objections, just mild disappointments. Directions for assembly were reasonably clear and it came with all the necessary hardware and a tool.

Well built
Great quality chair. Nice strong parts. Instructions were great, even had T wrench to assemble. If the chairs holds up as well as the quality pieces and instructions, this will be a great buy. Was also packaged very well.
