The quality was great! Very easy to clean and looked well made. Comfy for my sweet baby. Very light so was easy for her to get used to. Looked so dang cute on her and complimented her fur! Much more comfortable than the plastic cone they give at the vet! She used it as a pillow when she would lay down!😭🧡🖤

This allowed my tiny 5lb chihuahua sleep and eat without a problem when the cone did not. It was easy to use - just slip over his head and tighten the laces behind his head. Since he is so small, there was quite a bit of extra lace left over, but I just doubled it over so that he could not reach it - you can see a part of it hanging down in the first picture. The color is actually bright orange as in the first picture - I was happy with it. It washed up beautifully and if we need it again, it is in storage - it stores fairly flat like a tiny pillow. The veterinarian was impressed with it - she laughingly called him a little sunflower and insisted on taking a picture.

We got this and a body suit for when our cat got spayed. Cat hated the body suit but loves this collar. It’s super padded and she uses it like a built in pillow to rest her head on. Would highly recommend.

Got this for my mil, for her cat.It's soft, cute, easy to put on.But her cat got it off w ab 5 good kicks.She tightened it, he did the same thing .After that she was worried ab getting it too tight and constricting his airway.It may be fine on many cats, but this is a street cat, and he wasn't having any of it!So,not a good solution for my mil cat, but may work for you.

I recommend as an alternative for the Elizabethan collars. I have three different ones like this now for two of my cats who had surgery. They seemed way more relaxed and it made the recovery period so much easier, for all of us. One of my cats tried really hard to pull it off her head at first and didn’t manage (and never tried again), and the one in photo never even bothered trying, he was perfectly comfortable like that. It made it easier for him to eat, acted as a pillow when he slept, and didn’t cause issues when he tried to drink water (expect it to get a bit wet, but nothing that paper towels won’t soak up). Can spot clean if needed. My other cat had to wear it for a couple of weeks, I bought a second one for her in order to wash the first one, as it was a possibility that she was going to need it longer than the two weeks.

After my cat needed emergency surgery and the vet worker placed her with a plastic cone inside the cat carrier with her neck dangerously angled, I got on Amazon and decided on the Avont Cat Cone Soft Collar. I read the reviews and noticed that one picture had the collar dragging on one cat. I figured it was just a small cat and with my cat's weight (16 lbs), I went with a size large. Upon arrival, the collar looked very large (touching the ground and then some on my cat, while the hole for the cat's head was too small to fit). I liked that it was soft and able to be moved for comfort, but I disliked the large size and small opening. If I could have cut about 2 inches from the outside edge and made the head hole bigger, it would be a winner!

Our cat, Joey had a wound on his flank that he would not stop licking, which made it bigger. Got this collar for him and it has helped tremendously in his recovery. He’s not happy about wearing it in the main, he can eat and sleep comfortably from our observations as well as purring without difficulty.

Our cat needed a cone for a couple weeks and this was so much nicer! The material was surprisingly good for the price and he didn’t even mind wearing it compared to the plastic cone. He could comfortably sleep with it on and eat without getting in his food. It did the job of preventing him from licking

Initially after putting this on my cat I wasn't sure as he'd been freaking out after having the vet supplied one, and he did fight this one too. But within an hour he started to calm down when he realised he had much more range to see, eat and drink. He made some pretty impressive jumps (he's ridiculously active even when he's supposed to be "dopey" post neutering) whilst wearing it with wobbly but accurate landings (he does stomp sometimes when walking to accommodate the size, which not going to lie, looks pretty funny). Slept in it perfectly and used the opportunity to drape it over my face with a head nudge so we were "both" in it.I got the small and he's a 4 month old 1.64kg kitten so considering the moves he was making I was impressed it stayed on. I did bow the string as was recommended and it hasn't budged but it can move enough for him to comfortable breath and get about. Makes for a nice pillow too when he sleeps
