Excellent
Another good book in this excellent series. Very likeable characters who work well together, especially Norm who cares for them all. Unable to guess the outcome so a very good story.

Good Read
Following the style of the previous books in this series, again we have an intricate plot with numerous twists and turns before the surprise culprit is discovered. If you like straight-forward crime fiction, then look no further, a good read.

Fantastic book
Twists and turns all the way through, you think you've solved then you haven't and so it goes on. A real page turner, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend you read this book.

Book 4 in a really excellent series
This is a solid, believable, and very well told murder mystery. I was particularly impressed with the dialogue which flows nicely and sticks to the point without losing any of its charm. The occasional catch-ups explaining how the investigation is going are really useful and very well written into the story so that they don't feel like reminders to the reader. The characters on the investigative side are lovely people that I have come to know and love yet the author doesn't pull any punches when it comes to describing the more unsavoury aspects of their work so that it feels very real. The story romps along well and covers all the bases so that I never found myself wondering why they weren't pursuing something I'd thought of but they hadn't. I was kept guessing to the end which is always a good sign for me. I am a huge fan of this author and I look forward to his next book with great anticipation!

Complex mystery
Complex mystery with many threads to untangle. A good mix of characters who were believable and worked hard to solve the case.

twisted
Another page turner.Brilliant storyline as always. So many twists that lead you up the garden path just to come to a dead end.But also the ongoing stories of the main characters that keep you invested in wanting the next book.

Great Read
Who murdered Tilly? DI Southall, Norman, and the team find themselves caught in a maze as they begin their investigation. Lots of suspects to interrogate but no one came close to being arrested until they find the body of David Griffith, Tilly's husband, with his head bashed in.Great Story with lots of twists and turns. As usual, the author has written the ending with an unexpected twist. What!? Didn't expect that.5 ***** from this happy reader.

Another great book from P. F. Ford
I have read all the books by this author and found them very enjoyable. Spent many nights reading too long before heading off to sleep. Looking forward to his next book with Norman Norman as the main character. If you haven’t read the previous books I suggest you start with book #1 now.

A Body at the Farmhouse
Another great crime mystery from P. F. Ford! I’ve read all this author’s books and I especially enjoy the rejoiner series with Norman. This book is one of the best. In Ford’s books, you can always expect a complex crime to figure out, relatable characters, and settings that make those of us in USA want to visit. I highly recommend all his books.

Good but a bit long winded
I enjoyed this book. The story, characters and reason was good. It did seem to drag on but then didn't seem to finish properly.

A Bit Drawn Out, but good twists and turns.
Descriptions and personality detail brought the reader right into being part of the team. Looking forward to more of the team interaction in the remaining books of this series.
