Works great ‘most’ of the time…
We started seeing a few house mice around the garden, which wasn’t a big deal until they started climbing the walls of the bungalow to get to the roof… Time to go, little fellas!Unless it was a genuine infestation with hygiene or property damage issues, I would never kill or poison an animal. I started with mouse repellent and it just had no effect, so it was time to physically catch them.As these were a very fair price for 4, I gave them a try.Easy to setup right out of the box, with a bit of peanut butter in the food compartment (as recommended in the instructions).Long story short, we caught 4 mice in the first two days which was great. However, on the third day, we watched as a mouse just walked in and out of the trap, feeding on peanut butter, without it closing. It was rainy and humid, so maybe the plastic became slightly expanded, causing the trap to be less sensitive to activate. We haven’t caught another mouse since, despite seeing one-or-two of them in the garden.Overall, certainly at first they worked superbly and did the job for a cheap price. However, if you want to be absolutely certain of catching tiny mice which barely weigh anything, you might want to spend a little more.

Squirrels will steal if left outside!
This worked very well at snaring an adorably cute field mouse that found itself in our TV room. I used peanut butter as bait. I released the little feller into the neighbours' garden, because I hate them, and then left it on the garden table while I went to work. When I got home it had been thieved and I suspect the local tree-rats.A faff to clean but seems otherwise pretty foolproof.

Very Pretty, BUT NOT SENSITIVE
I purchased 4 of these, because my lovely wife said i could eject the creatures that had decided to wander in the french window to live under stairs, helping them selves to dog biscuits.I fitted up a cctv to watch them..... Wander in and out the humain trap. After 2 nights of them enjoying the feast, i added 4 old fashioned type traps. The old fashioned ones cought 7 mice over three nights. (1 fat one, 6 little ones)Humain traps 0 : Little nippers 7So sorry 7 : NIL to the old style traps.Been watching 3 more nights, no sign of miceEdit : Finally managed to catch a mouse (Using peanut butter)Score now 7:1 Against.

Sent them back!
Although these seem to work, I found there was a 10mm drop before they sprung,-so mouse would have to be heavy! then there's the problem with sticky baits like peanut butter? there's no need to use this horrible bait. I found grated cheese caught loads of mice, & chocolate,-any food really! I bought instead, traps with bait holders on the door,-much easier & cleaner all round. Lastly the seller sold 4 for £15,-now they are 3 for£13?-Typical!

Did as intended
Easy to use and to clean. Managed to catch our little friend within a week. I was then able to release it in an area away from any houses.

Mouse caught
Really pleased - followed instructions, left traps out overnight and Mr Mouse was caught. Had turned the room upside down a no sign, sneaky.

Not squirrel proof
The traps work, don't get me wrong, but the baiting section that is the issue. You put the bait in a separate slide section on the end. Great idea - easy to use, no mess in the trap mechanism. However, squirrels can also get that section off, presumably more easily than I can! Then they have a delightful little picnic basket to take away. I bought a pack of four, now I none that work. All four have missing bait sections. I played hunt the thimble around the garden and found one but it was nibbled away so they reached the bait, while the smug squirrel watched from the tree above my head.
