Ths is the first window film product that comes with an easy start peel tab for the clear backing.. how amazing that would be. Unfortunately, the roll is secured with regular scotch tape across the same area, and that is not clean release. It's also on the keep side. Bummer. .The instructions have a tip I've never before encountered so decided to try. It instructs you to take the clear plastic liner after attaching all wet sides to window, and putting it on the back side of the film as a protective barrier while smoothing it out. I was worried with the nature of window film that the clear sheet would end up wrinkling and that damaging or rippling the film underneath. If nothing else, it adds another layer or 2 of possible surfaces to grab debris that will cause defects. It went surpringly well. I think I'll be stealing that hack in future applications. (Maybe even phone screens.)This film is now officially the thickest I've bought and used. And finally in the good way you'd hope. Bubbles push out to the edges as expected. Once cut to size the process went pretty fast. The thickness definitely makes cutting before hand a bit off, I recommend using something flat and weighted while measuring, but at least if off a milimeter or two it's even. One thing I'd watch for during that stage-at one point the clear liner and film got a crease of separation in a random point from flattening the sheet which really wants to stay rolled. It did not end up affecting the results, but it could if you weren't watching for it.

I put this stuff on the inside of my garage door glass to filter out the sunset and street lights at night, works great just enough darkness yet clear enough to see thru .

Well I don't know it was too small even though I did make measurements before I purchased it's not very easy for one person to put it on my Mobility is very very limited so it was kind of difficult for me because I can't use my arms in my hands that well maybe for somebody else would be a lot easier but I got the bottom Windows covered and that was the main thing I had to buy an extra one yesterday to complete the job because they're not very big you don't get that much on a roll one rule barely covers one regular size window

Installation isn't easy if you don't measure correctly, but it seems to help tremendously with reflecting the light. I like to think it helps with heat but it is so hot that I can't really tell.
