Resch No02 Rabbit "Gnome-house" Natural solid wood made of spruce / with Windows and an extra large entrance

In the Spring I purchased this house and two more similar but not identical ones made by Resch. The outlay was quite substantial, but I really liked the houses, and my guinea pigs frolicked in and out of them through the long summer days. By the Autumn, however, I was looking at a pile of planks. Each of the three houses was coming apart at the seams, and the weaker parts around the doors and windows were either split or splitting. I had hoped for about 5 summers from these items (my guinea pigs are inside during the winter); I barely got 5 months. Beautiful: yes. Long lasting: no.

My rabbit loves her little cottage! I painted it to make it look more homey.

Bunny loves this. She can get in and out easily (she's a minilop) and it's pretty to look at!
