NAFNAF Sheer Luxe Leather Cleanse & Condition 500ml

I ride a friend's horse so bought this as a way to quickly clean the tack following my rides and hopefully leave it lovely for the owner. First of all the positives: Nice smell, cleans tack well (if it's not too dirty - read below) and leaves it with a nice sheen. Negatives: Doesn't spray very well (especially when cold, which is like all the time in Scotland!), hasn't reduced my workload much as it needs to be applied using a damp sponge. This would work if you lived somewhere warm and dry or maybe if you are lucky enough to keep your horse somewhere with an all weather arena and clean roads to hack along, but in Scotland in the winter you always return home looking as though you have just completed a point to point, with damp, mud splattered tack. This means you still have to wipe the mud off first with a damp cloth or your sponge quickly turns into a mud smearer extrodinaire. Rinsing said smearer to remove mud then produces hundreds of bubbles, rendering the sponge useless for further applications (unless you want that white dried sea foam look for your tack!). So back to my point, if I have to use a cloth to wipe the mud off first, I might as well just use said cloth to clean the tack with (as I used to do), rather than add this step which only cleans it marginally better but more expensively. It's also not as conditioning as I would have liked so still need to use saddle soap every couple of cleans as well. So in summary, bought as a labour saver but has added not removed a step to my cleaning routine ... only gets 3 stars as it smells so great so makes the process slightly more bareable.

I’ve been using as part of my resolution to clean my tack briefly after every ride to keep it supple and I wanted a product that actually cleans not just piles grease on top. This does indeed seem to do a cleaning job well, when applied with damp sponge and I’m liking using it. It froths a bit and either needs wiping down with a dry cloth after or continue to work in for longer. Particularly good getting the sweat and grime off the breast plate and flash strap and I’m liking my cleanse tack.Downside: doesn’t seem to be conditioning as much as it sells itself as so after a few cleans I think it now needs more traditional leather feeder or glycerin soap to keep it from getting too dry.Overall: happy with product. Could spray better. Nice smell. Does clean well. Could condition more but not at expense of the cleaning so happy.

This is a top quality leather cleaner and restorer. It nourishes and cleans really well and restores the look of my worn leather yard boots which I was going to replace but have now decided to keep as they look so good thanks to this product.. It replenishes and adds a new shine to my boots which I really like. Maybe a bit pricey but well worth it based on good results. Would definitely recommend.
