I foster cats and my latest must not have been treated for fleas properly because it wasn't long before all the cats were busy scratching themselves and I noticed flea dirt everywhere. I needed something quick, affordable and that wouldn't cause irritation. After reading the reviews, I decided to give this brand a try. However, once I received them and looked at the package, I realized that, while it says whole body protection and shows pictures of fleas and ticks, it says nothing about killing them. I decided since I had the collars, I'd go ahead and put them on the cats until I found something else because at least it would repeal the fleas and I could then vacuum them up. Less than twelve hours later, I was picking up in the cat room when I noticed black specks in one of the cat beds. Upon inspection, I realized they were dead and dying fleas! I checked the other cat beds and found the same! I was pleasantly surprised that the collars were working and actually killing fleas, not just repealing them. I also noticed that the aroma of the collars, while not unpleasant but very strong with multiple cats in the same room, was no longer as strong as when I first put them on the cats. Also, none of the cats had, or have yet had, a bad reaction to their collar although I will be keeping a close eye on them. All in all I'm very pleased with the product, although I have my doubts that they will last eight months only time will tell, but even if they don't, I fully intend to buy these collars again the next time a foster brings fleas into the house.

i absolutely LOVE this product! we got my cat around May as a street kitty and, when we took her to the vet, she had flea poop on her. we thought there were no fleas but on July they told us she had fleas and we were so worried! we gave her multiple showers and tried Flea products like consistently brushing her with the flea comb and flea shampoo. Not even the vet's flea medicine worked. I was scared to buy a collar because all the reviews on other collar products showed chemical burns from the collars EXCEPT THIS ONE! This was the only collar that didnt show burns and had multiple good reviews. Not only is it SUCH a good price for 4 of them, each collar lasts 4 months and they ALL have such a nice smell to them. I put the collar on her in August and haven't changed it out at all, and the smell is still there! i HIGHLY recommend this product!!!!!

Overall, this works. Be careful that your cat doesn't have any prior skin issues before putting the collar on. My male cat had a scab I didn't notice and the collar ended up pulling the wound back open. The only reason I know it was the collar and not him scratching, was because there was fur and yucky bits in the inside of the collar. When I took it off and his wound healed, and replaced the collar, everything was fine. This is really the only reason I gave a star off. Otherwise these collar seem to work well and have a nice scent also.

I have an indoor only cat, so little chance of fleas. However, we recently had a mouse invasion in the neighborhood...and with mice come fleas! So now my cat wears a flea collar, just in case. So far, she hasn't shown any evidence of fleas. I have several feral cats that come to feed on my patio, so I will keep the collar on her from now one, as a preventative measure, in case a flea should hop through the door!

These work great! This is my second time purchasing this product. Highly recommend to a multi cat household. They're cost effective and actually work.I will never use any other type of flea collar again.I haven't seen fleas since using these!None of my cats have had any type adverse effects from wearing these.

The collars stay on my cats. They have not been able to scratch them off. It was easy to put them on. You can tell they are flea collars. They are not cute. But they work. I did not smell a strong scent at any point.My beautiful cat Baby was healing from flea bites. The collar did not let her scabs heal which caused sores. I applied SILVERQUINE Animal Wound Dressing Gel. Please check your cats neck.UPDATE: One of my cats scratched off his collar but I had cut the end a little too short. However, it was easy to put back on him. Overall, they fit great.I took the collar off my cat Baby for maybe 2-3 days. She healed quickly from her sores after taking the collar off. The collar did NOT cause the sores. She was healing from flea bites.After putting Baby’s collar back on, she is flea free and so are my other cats. We tried everything prior to this but none of it worked. These collars made the fleas that were around lethargic. If I found a live flea, it was unable to really move. Soon after we were only finding dead fleas. These collars worked right from the start. Less than one month later, we are 100% flea free.

This item looks nice in black, but it often falls off my cats. Also, it reduces fleas, but doesn’t get rid of them completely. My cats still had like 5 fleas on them after bathing and putting the collars on.

I had been having trouble with fleas for my multiple cats with the flea ointment treatment, which do not work and were very expensive. August of 2023 I bought these collars and they became flea free and still are. I just bought again to replace the ones they currently had since been about 8 months now March of 2024.Only thing you have to watch is you have to tighten them every so often or they come off the cat somehow. We have multiple cats and some no problem keeping on and the other seems to come off. It probably depends on the cat on this.It definitely works to keep fleas away!!!
