Joyce Meyer: A Life of Redemption and Destiny

Very inspiring. I would recommend this book to every one. It's wonderful how Joyce over came here hardships in life bc of God.

Great inspiration to every woman out there. May the Lord bless her with good health i know she's in her 70's now and i want to be that healthy when I get her age.

I selected this book when I had to do an assignment for a Psychology class for assessment. I must say it was an excellent material for the assignment. However, it was a very good book, as Joyce speaks candidly about her life and her struggles with sexual abuse and parenting. I can't imagine how hard this may be. I was inspired by her honesty, bravery, and resilience, I am sure others would be too.

I learned much about the Joyce we don't get to see on television and it was inspiriing to me that she did go through the hurdles that us as also abused people have to go through to get to the peace that Joyce has taken many years to truly find. Thank You Joyce for this book. I have also purchased "The Penny" a novel that also gives insight to the many chapter of an abused life. I have tried to hide this factor until at this late age, God has determined me ready to visit and heal and be restored. Thankful for the annointing on this womens life for those of us who struggle the many things she is willing to communicate in His Grace.

The four stars are for Joyce Meyer’s life, but the book is pretty poorly written. The info is good, but it desperately needs editing.

Joyce's early life was like mine. I have gained so much hope and renewal that my circumstances can change and there is nothing I can't do with God behind me pushing me forward. Thank you, Joyce Meyer, for being who you are and that is A TRUE WOMAN OF FAITH AND STRENGTH.

Amazing story, once it gets beyond about halfway it feels like long lists of achievements or outreach. I got this book to hear the story/ the journey, the testimony. I definitely recommend this book to others it makes me admired Joyce even more than I did before. It makes me think, gosh she actually really knows what she's talking about, she not just a 'theorist', she's really lived and found God.

Throughout the years I have read many books of Joyce Meyer that has had such an impact on my life. I really enjoyed reading about her life from the beginning. I must say that after reading this book that I am even more inspired, encouraged, and hopeful in my spiritual relationship and walk with God.Thanks Joyce Meyer, for sharing your life story that has made me a better person and to understand more how God operates in my life to become the person that He has created me to be.

I was really looking forward to reading this book but was really disappointed. Didn't really go into much detail about Joyces life and infact a LARGE part of the book was basically defending the Joyce Meyer Ministry against the claims re tax avoidance/fraud and the ridiculous amount of money Joyce and her family receive as an income.Would not recommend :(

It is good to get the honest information about Joyce Meyer - as she is always doing in her preaching. There are things in the book that I didn't know about before. I haven't read it all yet but have enjoyed reading it up to now.

Inofrmative and detailed. This lady has been through it all and survived. Abuse, incest, divorce etc. Her dealing with the forgiveness of her family abusers and others is an amazing example of the freedom that forgiveness brings to those who are victims. Tremendous testimony to the power of the application of Biblical truths and faith in God

A tragic story of a young life destroyed, but an inspiring one of how God transformed Joyce,s life bit by bit.
