KEENUneek Astoria-w womens Sandals

4 months of wear
After wearing occasionally during the summer of 2023 and for a month in Asia they’ve begun to come apart. Not sure I’d spend the money again on Keen products who we thought had a good product.

Unique, attractive, fits well
Got a size 9, which would usually be a little loose but I am between sizes. However, this one fit exactly, lucky for me, toe is all the way forward. The "net" design is very interesting and comfortable, there is no one place that pinches as the hours go by. Am testing this out as my "go to" walking shoe for upcoming trip to Spain, France, Italy where walking on uneven ground and cobblestones all day requires a stiff undersole, good balance, and nonslip. To my surprise, except for the heel strap, this sandal/shoe "could" be used for going out to dinner as the front net lacy part looks mildly elegant. Am committed to bringing only ONE walking show plus my Aerothotic slippers which I ended up wearing on cobblestones almost daily when my New Balance sneakers (also travel proven) started to smell, . Testing these Keens wearing "peds" on the front part of my foot for toe-jam reduction, but supposedly you can wear them bare footed. After two days of walking around for 8 hours at home and on errands, they at least pass the first level comfort test. disclosure: I have very problematic feet and 7 out of 10 covered sandals and shoes give me blisters SOMEWHERE on my foot so I spend a medium fortune buying different ones. Am also a believer in minimal packing hence my fanatic focus on finding THE right walking/touring shoe. Plan to wear long pants or midi-skirts/dress so the sporty aspect of this sandal is less obvious. PS I normally do not write product reviews unless they are extremely good or bad, so I thought I would contribute this one for those of you who also have trouble with finding closed sandals that are blister free.

Shrink my feet, please
These are very cool looking shoes but unfortunately their ability to be adjusted is limited, which really surprised me. I could not even get my foot in them, I felt like a giant trying to cram my foot in a child’s shoe. I’m trying the other, older version, which has a zillion great reviews and fits wider feet. These seem to be for slim, narrow footed folks. Very disappointed.I ended up buying two pairs of the older Uneek shoe- in two sizes. Took a while to get here since they are distributed from Japan- ended up with a 7.5, my usual size and as they loosen up they become more and more comfortable!!

This shoe has NO traction.
I wore this in mud an water and slipped and fell due to the non traction of this shoe.
