This is a great fine motor toy for preschoolers that also provides cognitive challenge!It comes with several double sided pattern cards which are made sturdy enough I’m that I’m not worried about my daughter tearing them.The only thing that I feel could be improved is to have a stopper bead included to put at the end of the lacing string, otherwise this is a fantastic toy!

This is a great activity for preschool aged children. The beads could be a choking hazard for babies and toddlers, so the suggested age of 3+ is correct. Everything is great quality, made of sturdy wood. The beads can be stacked on the poles or laced onto the included strings. Double sided pattern cards are included for children to match the patterns with the beads.We chose this as a quiet, solo activity for our 4yo to do while the older siblings are busy with school work. She can match the patterns on the cards but usually prefers to create her own patterns, such as putting all the beads in rainbow order.

Set includes 8 reference cards, which are double-sided with patterns to imitate, a set of strings (wood stick on the end for easier threading of the beads), 5-column wooden stand, and 25 colorful, wooden beads.Great for hand-eye coordination, and cognitive thinking. Interactive quality time with younger children, learning to follow the reference cards, and learning how to thread the beads. Nice, quiet activity. Pieces made well.

This toy is so much fun! My niece loves it and chooses this over other toys!

This little lacing set/stacking set is adorable and helps Pre-K kids to build their hand-eye coordination. The reason for the 36+ months age range is that the size of each bead is definitely a choking hazard. A younger child could certainly enjoy this set with close supervision. If your preschooler has younger siblings, you'll still want to closely monitor playtime to keep the younger ones safe.

I got this for my two nieces. Sometimes having a little toy for children who visit is really nice.The children are 2.5 and 4.5 years of age.They liked playing w the blocks and following the patterns.We got the idea to make out own patterns, draw them and the put the beads on the sticks.I would not recommend traveling with this set because pieces could be lost.It is a very calming and relaxing toy.I’m glad I have it for friends and v relatives visiting w children.
