Lg Ultrafine 5k working perfect over thunderbolt.
I have bought the card because i have a lg 5k ultrafine monitor and its just plug and play...well done gygabyte.

It works, but needs serieus setup
It needs a dubbele hidden bios option to be turnt on or windows (10) wil not recognize it.“GPIO3 force pwr” or similar. (Gigabyte bios)On the gigabyte website there is a sum what hidden firmware update. Bud necessary.Needs driver software tot connect external devices. En to authorize them.Your motherboard needs only 1 of 2 possible connections plug for Thunderbolt and 1 usb 2.0 header.This is not mentioned in the documentation.It is not the best manual ever, covering only the physical installation of the card.No Thunderbolt cable included.Dus have the usb internal header cable and internal Thunderbolt candle to go to the motherboard (THB_c header). And 2 mini display cables to display.The card is version 2.0

Pain in the a.... Gerät
Grusel...Habe zwei gekauft, eine war gleich mal defekt...Achtung, läuft fast nur auf Gigabyte boards u da auch nicht unbedingt!Bei mir Asus maximus hero 9, BIOS unterstützt die titan ridge explizit..., angeblich.Dann einbau, totales kabelchaos, nachdem man den richtigen pcie slot gefunden hat...Danach ins bios u die einstellungen ändern, thunderbolt auch erstmal aktivieren.Windoof erkennt im gerätemanager dann unbekannte PCI belegung, also treiber installieren..., CD rein, installation wird ohne nachricht abgebrochen..., treiber aus dem netz gesaugt, installation... abgebrochen.Identische PC, neuer versuch, aber alles wie gehabt, nix geht.Im netz u sogar hier auf amazon, finden sich viele problembeschreibungen von usern, die sich alle ähneln, pain in the a...Einige empfehlen, die Intel minimaltreiber zu benutzen, aber mein fazit:finger weg, von diesem crap!Anstelle ne saubere schnittstelle auf die boards zu packen, jubelt man den nutzern halbgaren schrott unter.Danke für nix.
