STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair Series 2

My father recently bought the STEP2GOLD Ta-Da Chair Series 2, and it has been an amazing experience for him over the last 4 months. Just received this today and I'm really pleased! I wanted something to take when I am going to have to wait in lines and for walks, as I have lumbar problems but I can walk more if I can just sit for a minute sometimes. I think it's going to be great. It sets up and folds down in just a moment, and requires no strength to do it. It's lighter than I even expected, very easy to carry. I am only 5 foot 2, so I bought the shortest one, and it is just the right length for me to use as a cane if I need to. As of now I don't need to use a cane, although I do use a trekking pole for anything more than a short walk on a totally flat surface, and I think this can replace the trekking pole for medium grade walks. I would probably not take this on very difficult or rocky terrain, but I can't really do that kind of hiking anymore anyway. To sit on, the Ta-Da Cane is extremely stable. It feels safer than a lot of flimsy folding chairs I have sat on! Obviously it is not quite as stable on grass or an uneven surface but if you are careful you can still do it. I wish it was a little less expensive so more people could have it. The only thing I might add is a wrist strap. There's a plastic part that comes out of the handle to hang it on the back of your chair, but it's not comfortable to hang off your wrist. That's minor though. Overall I'm very pleased; I think it's going to greatly improve my comfort and my ability to get out and do things... and not let my back pain limit my life.

It is sturdy, opens and closes easily and is light weight. I will be travelling shortly and needed a seat as my back gives out, if I stand in long lineups. This will be perfect to give me the assistance needed. I will follow up post trip.
