Q: What thermal roll do you need for replacement?

Does not use thermal roll. Uses Letter size Thermal Paper for M08F printer. I purchased Itari box of 200 thermal sheets along with the printer. I like using sheets instead of tearing paper off a roll.

Q: M08: best to store rolled up finished copy, or will it stay flattened?

I’m not sure what you mean by rolled up? I use thermal printer paper standard single sheet. It is just like normal printer paper, but made for thermal printing. I hope this helps.

Q: Will the thermal paper fade over time?

Not Yet - but it is so handy when I am travelling to have this handy with my Surface Tablet ( also bought from Amazon !!
