Intel Corporation INT-SSDPEK1W120GA01 Optane SSD 800p Series (118GB M.2 80mm PCIe 3.0 3D XPoint) Generic Single Pack

I originally bought this to replace a NAND SSD that came with my laptop. This is the last and only high-capacity Optane model specifically designed for laptops with idle power turned down into the microwatts range. (The P1600X series consumes several orders magnitude more power in idle state.)Beware that these are dual-lane (B+M key) PCIe NVMe SSDs. Unfortunately, it does not work with the laptop which I bought it for. It didn’t like that the device was only dual-lane; the quad-lane PCIe NVMe SSDs (including the P1600X) worked fine. So I ended up putting this 800P in a Thunderbolt enclosure, and the enclosure happened to be limited to two lanes anyway, so it worked out in the end.On other systems where this I’ve used it to host the operating system, it certainly feels snappier despite its anemic sequential read/write performance.

システムドライブ用に購入。既存のNANDタイプのものに比べ、ランダムリード・ライト共に体感できるレベルで速くなりました。容量と価格に納得できればいい買い物になると思います。
